Tony: take less stuff *bass fishermen have left the chat*

I hate how much stuff there is for bass fishing. Cant wait til i move to the coast fairly soon.

@@SaltySeaCaptain agreed. I bass fish most of the time out of necessity, but I’d love to be able to just kayak fish inshore salt every day & never touch another bass lol

@@TheFishingMommy I'll always appreciate my roots but bass are just too picky, overpressured and unpredictable. You can slay em for a while then bam nothing will bite. I feel like inshore is a lot more consistent and with way less tackle, plus you never know what you're gonna catch. I'm saving up for my first kayak you should definitely look into it.

@@SaltySeaCaptain I’ve got a bunch of kayaks! My favorite is my Hobie Outback. :) My issue is, I live in New York and we don’t really have inshore fishing here for the species I like to catch. Florida native but i’ve been here 25 years now. I spend 2-6 weeks a year in FL but that’s not enough!

Great discussion. What is the best approach for beginners to start using a kayak?

Looking into becoming a member. Moving to SC next week, only hour n half from ocean & even closer to Beaufort Marshes! I been kayak fishing for almost 6 yrs now. Started with a used 2015 hobie PA12. Sold it & upgraded to New PA 12 360 this spring! Loving it!!! My first hobie only cost me 200$ for 5.5 yrs of fishing for what I sold it for again! They hold their value. Plan on doing the same with this one when it's time to upgrade. Thanks for good info

Noise discipline is important on any boat or dock and even beaches, less noise is always better.

What do you think about the trolling motors out there for kayaks

Thanks for the video! I had a quick question. You mentioned taking your pedal drive out…where do you store it so that it doesn’t make a lot of noise?
