I have been there and it is absolutely gorgeous!! The buffalo are huge and I can truly tell you I want to have a car between me and them :) We had to park on the side of the road beautiful hundreds of Buffalo Were walking down the road. It was definitely an amazing site to see for me a once in lifetime. Tfs :)

The problem is most people don't know the meaning of wild animals, even tamed animals are just as dangerous! They say oh he's so cute and cuddly, they think they can just feel out love for them. People are idiots, and if they get hurt after reading the warnings, posted warnings or just warnings the animals give off. A perfect example is there was a cow loose and he was running alongside the road a woman got out of her car and put her hand up saying he is so cute then she got trampled by the bull.

Loved seeing your analysis of Yellowstone Bison. I've been to South Dakota a couple of times and we viewed the bison from the car. My dad was a hunter and animal lover so he taught us to highly respect wild animals. Either stay in your car or keep the car between you and them. That goes for bears and any other wildlife. Invest in a zoom lens for your camera.

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK IS NOT A PETTING ZOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the fools that get to close to bison, grizzly bears, elk and other wild life. That do not heed the warnings, it's your own fault, if you get hurt.

My Navy ship was named after Yellowstone, our flag and ship bell is there, but they dont keep it on display they told me, they dont have space, so if any of us from the ship come out there, we have to give them notice and they will get it out for us to see. Maybe one day i will get there
