Eric Butorac has competed on the ATP tour for the past decade, winning 18 ATP doubles titles along the way. He reached the finals of the 2014 Australian Open and the semi-finals in mixed doubles for both the French and U.S. Open. He has career doubles wins over Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Stan Wawrinka and the Bryan brothers. He spent eight years on the ATP Player Council, and in 2014, succeeded Roger Federer as president. A three-time Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-American while playing for Gustavus Adolphus College, Butorac won the NCAA DIII singles and doubles championships as well as the 2003 National Arthur Ashe Sportsmanship Award. He also spent four seasons as the volunteer assistant coach at Harvard University. Butorac retired from tennis at the 2016 U.S. Open and is now the director of player relations and pro tennis operations for the United States Tennis Association.

Ive probably watched this like 20 times. I could never say thank you enough for the inspiration you have given me. Not just in tennis but for all of my goals in life. Thank you.

Eric Butorac, great TED talk! Good advice on staying in the moment and taking things 1 day at a time. Hope you do great things for Tennis, American Tennis and the USTA!

Great talk Eric - Billy and Leo Power just told me about it last night. As the President of Longwood when you adn your Dad won the Father-Son tournament I think that ranks among your top achievements as well - given the competition and the grass courts!!! I understand that you are moving down to Florida for the USTA - hopefully you'll get to Boston once in a while to see us. Best to Maggie and the kids. Cheers

Heard about you this evening from the director of 'intuitive tennis' video he did on 'what happened to American tennis'? D3 to hanging with the big three, rarefied air indeed.👍 I like the title of your talk. Man, you missed your calling Pastor
