One thing you didn't mention is protecting the undercarriage, because all these newer audis (and all the other makers too) are prone to rusting quite badly. These should be undercoated when new or when still in good shape, something that the first owner never really cares about. Thank you for your great content and high quality videos. I've been looking for a B8/B8.5 RS5 (and/or C7 bitdi competition) here in Finland for some time and your videos have given me good detailed info about the RS5. I'm still driving my old but strong B7 3.0tdi quattro, and have owned different quattro Audis for 20years. They do need alot of maintenance and some repairs every now and then, but oh boy the smile you get when you're driving a quattro in the snow😎

Thank you for the feedback and thank you for sharing a bit of your story. I would say that protection for the undercarriage is important yes, but unfortunately I haven't done this and couldn't include it in the episode. Haven't noticed any rust or corrosion, and was recently under the car, still, perhaps a dry ice clean and coating will be coming soon. Thanks again, and thanks for watching 👍

Agreed. They could put this 4.2 V8 in anything and it would be a great buy haha PS. instead of a ceramic coat, maybe look into silica sprays and paint sealant. There's a car wash episode on WhyBuy about protection that you might want to look into. In short, Ceramic coatings can be awesome (when applied correctly) but it's an expensive option that doesn't always work in practical day to day.
