There's a great local version. Pineapple, Chicken, Bacon, Red Onion, and Jalapenos with a spicy bbq sauce, along with the drizzle of honey bbq sauce over the top. The edges get brushed with a garlic butter and it's a thicker pan crust. It's awesome.

@@vietpham9161 Yeah, but with Hamburgers and Hotdogs specifically are designed for toppings and condiments. While I personally use some type of hot sauce on my pizza. I sprinkle or drizzle it on, also hot sauce doesn't significantly change the taste of pizza. It just makes it spicier, Ranch totally covers up the taste of the tomatoe sauce. It would be better to just replace the tomatoe sauce with ranch and then bake the pizza.

Tomatos are considered vegetables in culinary uses, as a plant it's considered a berry, tomatoes give off a savory flavor, not a sweet flavor like most fruits have. Pineapple on pizza is just wrong, the reason being that pizza is considered a savory dish, not a sweet dessert. It's not because pineapple is merely a fruit that it can't go on a pizza, it's because the pineapple's acidic sweet profile combats the savory flavor of the pizza, making the taste either an explosive mess or cancel out the flavor altogether. You are basically adding dessert toppings to your pizza, you might as well put grapes, strawberries, lemons, and mangos to it while you are at it, just dump in some sugar too for good measure. You should add tomatoes and pepper to your ice cream and tell me how that tastes, then say again pineapple on pizza is good. I also see a few people make a big glorified cookie and they call it a pizza, like when does the madness end? Pizzas aren't desserts!

Whether it's pineapple on pizza or pickles on a burger, the finicky will always remove it. I adore pineapple on a pizza with whatever else toppings. It's the sweetness balance and also adds extra moisture to the salty meats. I buy tinned pineapple rings and cut them to size, chunky or just pieces and always put a Ring in the centre so when it's divided every slice of pizza has a piece on the tip. 😀👍🤤🇦🇺

It's not hating on them personally, it's hating their ignorance on cooking. It's rather simple why pineapples on pizza is wrong: pizza is a savory dish, pineapple is a sweet fruit, you simply don't add sugary foods to a spicy, savory pizza. You might as well add chocolate to your pizza or lemons, it's just as revolting as it sounds. Or you can try the reverse, add some pepper and meat to your chocolate cake and let me know how that fares.
