Don't ever buy a pedal power meter with POD design

Don't ever buy a pedal power meter with POD design. It is the point of failure.
Pedal is the bike part getting a lot of damages. The expensive pedal power meter with pod design will invite all kind of abuses.
Your crank can damage it if installing improperly. You cleat can also do the same. Chances that your shoe contacts the pod is very imminent . You can mistakenly holding the pod when screwing it to the crank or doing the maintenance. The road rocks can knock the strain gauges out of place???
Most of the time, the strain gauges will be damaged after 2 years just right after the warranty period. You just wondered it is protected inside the pod. How can it get damaged? Manufacture uses epoxy to seal the strain gauges to pedal axle.
Now adays, everything can be conceal in the axle. Please go to buy their new one Favero Assioma PRO MX or better go with Garmin Rally or KEO Blade power meter.
Don't go with the old design and technologies which have a lot of disadvantages.
