I think it's because they weren't thinking about the power lines when they were small but hopefully it will grow taller and away from the power lines and they won't do it anymore they are so gorgeous that's taking away the beauty of these majestic palm trees

That's one thing I heard about growing crownshafted palms is to not trim the fronds as apparently the palm will self clean.

Good catch, CF. It looks so bad! Nothing looks better than a dark green full crown of a fully mature Royal! So sad to see!

I will never understand why people will go through all the effort of buying and planting a tree only to not learn about how to properly care for it. Might as well throw your money away.
