9:01 All locals need to pay close attention and ask yourself is this what you want your tax dollars to pay for, do you want your tax dollars to support this type of behaviour long after he retires with a hefty pension, are you happy to support these people and give them your tax dollars and support a life style that is possibly 2 to 3 times if not more lavish than your life style, then ask yourself "do you want to be his next victim" 9:29, if you answered no to any of the above questions then you should talk to your locals and your local government employees and bring this to their attention with meetings and letters to express how you feel about it. As a local you have a voice you just have to speak. Side note do you agree with his colleagues response to the situation, are you happy that they witnessed an assault and did not do anything about it?

@Aussie Nathan g'day eh, just wondering in Canada freedom of press and expression is covered under Section 2 b of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, in the States under the 1st Amendment, what's Australian equivalent

Australia does not have a national charter of rights or bill of rights, making it the only liberal democracy in the world without one. Instead, human rights protections are found in the Constitution, legislation, and common law.
@captcrash333815 күн бұрын
there is no equivalent. we write down want you “can’t” do, not what you “can” do. that said australia is also a signatory to the HRC etc
@Auditingaussie15 күн бұрын
Section 19a or b of our Australian constitution talks about the freedom of press but its not the same as the charter of rights or the bill of right Brooke Cameron or Constitution is very vague and not easy to read.

Unfortunately this is WA. In NSW the police have the right to act or not act, e.g. if you have a problem and call the police, they really DON'T have to attend. If they have a problem with you, you can and WILL be arrested and tried. If you're not found guilty, the court will dismiss the case. You STILL have a record. You STILL have to take the state to court, at your own expense, to be found innocent, so you can then seek compensation. A reminder, you can now be arrested in NSW for anything that resembles a "threatening gesture". Putting the camera in his face, filming or not can be deemed a "threating gesture", or as one magistrate said in open court, "It may look like a phone to you, in my day phones looked different. In the spur of the moment the constable could mistrue it as a weapon.
@KenOath4216 минут бұрын
He knew exactly what it was because he said put the camera down. And if you watch the film he didn't put it in the cops face, he literally tried to avoid the cop. The cop clearly presented himself in front of the camera which is a very funny thing to do for someone who claims he doesn't want to be filmed.

Hey Aussie Nathan, l film the cops a little and other stuff, now we all know the americans can film in public buildings, is it the same with Australia, l am having trouble finding the laws on that. Ps l am in Victoria, in a town with pretty good cops mostly.
@Auditingaussie12 күн бұрын
yes you can record in public buildings bro but our laws are different and if you asked to leave the dwelling if you dont you can be trespassed brother.
@terrynitschke577612 күн бұрын
@Auditingaussie thanks, l am in Maryborough vic, mostly good cops, they don't say anything when l point a camera at them, but off camera, there are some shitty ones. Other differences in laws compared to America. Aussie cops can pull over cars for no reason "section 59" and we can be charged for swearing.
@terrynitschke577612 күн бұрын
@Auditingaussie hey another thing, the Australian flag flown at copshops, they have to follow protocols, one of which is, it must be illuminated if flown at night. That started my activism, l noticed copshop flag had no light, then to my amazement, l found out not one aussie flag in Maryborough was lit up, copshop, post-office, townhall, council building, and 6 businesses, not one, so it took a battle, but l got them all lit up, took 2 years and a bit of animosity towards me, but finally all aussie flags are now illuminated. You could check their flags if you want, it will annoy them. I bought a motorbike last year, and ride all around Victoria, l take pics of my bike out front of cop shops wherever l travel. I have 35 pics so far. A lot more to go, but l notice most of those copshops flags are not illuminated either.
@Auditingaussie12 күн бұрын
@terrynitschke5776 brother your right about the car but swearing isn't a crime bro not here in nsw it has to be offensive to a reasonable person and every Aussie swears but the local courts might find you guilty but when you appeal it to the higher court it will be dismissed but cost alot of money and the average Joe don't have that type of money to waste unless you study the law and represent your self but that don't go well with the judges bro. So moral of the story is swearing isn't a crime .
@Auditingaussie12 күн бұрын
@terrynitschke5776 true brother but they don't know the law nore do they there own policy's or care to follow them as there is no transparency or accountability for them in Australia unless it's tazeing a 95 yr old grandma that they couldn't cover up. Never trust the nice cops bro 💯 🤙🏼✌🏼
