It is an old continued scam practised almost in most Asian countries unfortunately I was a victim back in 90th where i was handed over 25k less actual amount of their local currency in Manila. Luckily the hotel management i have stayed in helped me to recover from them my 5k usd as the exchange shop was just in the same hotel street.

I got scammed two days ago. But I don't blame the scammer, as it was quite obviously a scam that I stupidly fell for. Looking back, I was mad at the scammer, but I have now realized that the scammer might have needed the money to support his family or something like that. One would do anything to support their family, even hurting others in the process. I know I would and since I was a kid, I've been told to treat people like I want to be treated.

In indonesia its common to scammers. Scammers scam Usually Richer People as they have More money and therefore gets More. so for a example a Rich guy's Car Hit a Scammer's Car. It didnt damage Anything, only Leaving a Scratch. The scammer would proceed to Ask A ton of Money for "Broken Parts" Lets say a Light you usually see in the back. He Would say that its expensive and He Wants Money to repair It. Now this is where You would usually Pay him But, Recheck the light again, Make the scammer test the light. If its working Just Hop into your car and Go if its not just Pay it. (this happens one time to me)
