GREAT TIPS. THANK YOU. I saw a video that shows using bubble wrap envelopes. You cut the bubble wrap to the size needed. (1) Lay down the bubble wrap, bubble side up. (2) Lay the cardstock on top of the bubble wrap. ( 3) Lay the die on top of the cardstock. . Layer cutting plates how you would normally. This cuts beautifully. (Now I keep my used bubble envelopes instead of throwing them away.) It also worked beautifully.

Years ago we were encouraged to put wax paper between the die and cardstock. Possibly to make it easier to get all the bits out, I can't remember. Thank you for the comprehensive tutorial. So nice to be talked to without being patronised 😊

Good tips - I always have my dies face up as this was the recommended method when I got my first Big Shot machine., I also take the dies through at their narrowest way round and often at an angle too - I still have dies that give problems. I have realised that some cardstock is more resistant than others. When a newbie at die cutting, I got waxed paper for using with dies, to help with removal - and used it all the time, but now I don't do die-cutting as much, due to only having a big shot plus in working order and it's heavy awkwardness at getting down & back up to its shelf, and have lost the habit of remembering the wax paper, for those intricate dies!

Fabulous! I noticed that my new fold away big shot actually says to put the card on top of the die instead of the way we have been doing it. I didn’t like that at first because it meant that sometimes I needed to tape it in place and then turn it over but knowing why helps! Maybe they have watched your videos?! Thank you! 💕

Seriously!!! You enjoy being talked to like a toddler? In that case, don't forget to be sure your under panties have the cotton lining in the inside before putting them on. This is to absorb any drips of urine you missed while wiping yourself. Now step into each leg hole from the waist hole, the waist hole is the biggest of the 3 holes.. shall I continue?

HELP, One thing though, sometimes I get fine slithers of paper around the cuts, especially when I run the die through twice? Any tips for this? I normally have a tooth brush that I use to brush these away, but they seem to be really fine? Great tip today! I’ve been doing this for a while now and you’re spot on! It’s frustrating, but when you know how it becomes more enjoyable crafting! Thanks heaps Lou xx

Tape your die in place, the second pass the die is moving a tiny fraction, hence the slivers

I enjoy videos of easy hacks or tips, but explaining to me all about the why's and whatnot's is crazy! I'm not 6 and I don't need to you to explain everything 2-3 times as to why you are turning your paper, just tell me to turn my dies at an angle and put them with the paper side up!!
