This was exactly what I needed, thank you! I try to stay away from the non-duality idea/crowd so that I don't get distracted or entangled in paradoxes. Every word my mind utters is dualistic, as language is dualistic by nature. "I" (consciousness) experience things via the body. The body houses certain tools, such as the ability to feel and think. Consciousness can experience beyond the body. The human body is limited in that way, but also cool how this dense blob of quarks, leptons, and bosons can paint a beautiful painting, make music, enjoy a walk in nature, or have an orgasm...

Sounds amazing! I am not quite to the quarter-way point. I do have the apathy, depression, hopelessness, paralysis and aimlessness component. Do some people need years of therapy before they can get a glimpse even? Thats where I am.

There are no conditions to a "glimpse" or even a full awakening. Although if there are lots of old emotions or traumas to release that might be looking at despite awakening

Some people, perhaps. But often "years of therapy" just means very ineffectual therapy is being done. A lot of therapy just doesn't work. Look up David Burns TEAM therapy, it's very interesting new developments.

The non-dual half way is when I intellectually got it! & then struggled with the urge to spiritually bypass, its just a dream, a story why bother. It’s the Egoic self that’s saying this! The thing is a lot of people do bother & have compassion for all living creatures, life. Their passion comes from our absolute being there is meaning despite all experience. True reality is beyond our personal veils. I have decided to ignore that mad chimp, the ego, & live, as Alex says without limits creating the world my being wants to see.

I was listening this redical nondual bullshit 3 years. And every speakers attached sex, smoke, and alkohol. They said, just what is appear to happen. If I asked them, about silence, becouse herewas continual silence, they answerdoesnt matter, noise or silence. So... where is non duality if silence and noise also here. My god. There's no "true" non duality. Once you define "true" and "untrue," you literally created a duality! Non duality is not playing that game anymore. After realizing the illusion of the self- there are different paths. Some stay engaged with society and some go off into the mountains to meditate all day. Buddhism has a name for those that stay in society- buddhisatva (probably spelled wrong). The Buddhisatva has realized enlightenment but has decided to stay and help those that haven't. You should, at the least, spend some time after realization unwinding your conditioning and working through your karma. If you don't- you might find yourself back at the starting point one day.... It's your call though, that's why it is all called "The song of freedom."

This is a fair comment. To clarify: I said "True Non-Duality" to make a distinction between messages that don't give the rest of the path and just stop at "No one's here"... and messages rooted in a deeper understanding. I'm not trying to say "This is the Ultimate Truth" or "The One True Path". Maybe I should have been clearer but we seem like it direct and snappy on KZbin, so I went with that. I have said in previous videos that ALL language dualistic and nothing you say can be "The Truth". And yes, I have said (in reference to going off in the mountains) "You can do that if you want". I was going to make the bodhisattva reference but didn't, so thanks for that. However, this was more focused on those who clearly don't want to be in the mountains and are apathetic or depressed after hearing "Radical" messages. Peace

They contradict each other because they're only pointers and not trying to define a conceptual truth. Pointers can contradict each other because they are working with where someone is at, which can differ between others.

@@sartemisa1 Awakening is immediate and permanent/ gradual and impermanent. You need a guru/you dont. You must meditate/ meditation is a wasted time. A lot of effort is needed/ awakening is effortless. Awakening is for everyone right now / only for those who are on spiritulal journey for many past lives and so on...
