Roid fun fact - VCZ doesn’t even work with its own deck, because it only works with 4 of the deck’s fusion monsters because they’re actually called “Vehicroid”while the rest are just “roid” monsters.

I wish roids weren't screwed over every time they got support these last 7 years. Can't swallow the non-WIND clause to "dodge Speedroids", all while having all their new monsters be WIND. The best thing I found to do with them is to go Ophrys/Cobra to turbo Mobile Base with Connection Zone to have it protected and immune to negation. Then you can use it's effect to summon another copy of MB, hit at 5000 ATK thanks to the field spell switching stats (milling Speedroid Tri-Eyed Dice to negate eventual attacks). During the end phase you use the Def Mobile Base's effect to return the Atk Mobile Base to the extra deck, and you hope your 5000 DEF tower doesn't get outed (unfortunately, Knightmare Unicorn and S:P both exist). You can also setup a grand total of 1 interaction with the countertrap. If anything, the Dual Avatar fusion spell is good at producing free Warriors for UFOroid Fighter (if you're desperate to get the countertrap online) and free tokens to pop to search with Megaroid City. Maybe one day roids will finally get a non-sabotaged wave of support... I'll keep dreaming...
