definitely had to leave a comment on here.. I'm 25 years old, got baptized in October 2016, gave up watching pornography completely within a few months of getting baptized then suddenly came down with lyme, candida, food poisoning, just a whole bunch of stuff. I've been very frustrated the last few days, as I have not been getting better. I am completely bed ridden in severe pain 24/7. I and am wondering why God is allowing me to go through this. So today I prayed for a blessing, in any way possible because I just have been growing very impatient. Anyways, when the video first started Derek said some people get to 5 months and 29 days and give up, but they don't know that if they would have waited 1 more day God would have ended the trial. 5 months and 29 days is literally the amount of time that has gone by since I stopped watching porn. I certainly needed to hear this today, and I hope that my short little testimony can help someone else out as well. God Bless

Not necessarily. Sometimes things get so bad that people expire. I've seen miracles, and I've seen tragedy where the miracle didn't come. Both are part of life in this world - the latter maybe even moreso for Christians. With all due respect, I sometimes wonder if some of my brethren and sisters even live in this world. If anything, this flies in the face of even what Derek himself taught - admitting that there are situations when God's unscrutable sovereign will does not allow for example healing for someoene. As if we don't have the Bible - read in full, it conveys the same message, regardless of what the Osteens of the day "motivate" and "inspire" their gullible audiences with. Sometimes, the victory is only on the other side.

Ai was diagnosed with cancer the first week of June I was never seriously sick a day in my life I never had any thing that aspirin or an antibiotic could not take care of and I'm 61 well my cancer was grade 3 which means on a scale of 1 to 3 3 is the most aggressive you can get and I was also stage 4 which is about as advanced as it can get I had to go through very strong chemo and a very long surgery but I had people praying for me and I prayed and thanked God for my healing and I just had a cat scan and a pet scan and today my pet scan results came back all the cancer is gone I am cancer free thank you God thank you Jesus never give up many days I was so tired but my faith in the most high kept me going never I repeat never give up God faithful

I know this is old but someone might see it that needs it. A new Christian should read the first 12 chapters in Exodus. This is what God is doing in each of our lives. We are in Egypt in slavery. Then He delivers us. It's a honeymoon stage. Then He leads us to the red sea. He even parts it for us. Then we are taken into the wilderness to be tested. You guys are experiencing the wilderness and testing. Don't give up or quit. God is right there, leading you with a pillar of fire. He feeds you with manna and gives you water to drink. Keep trusting Him and believing in Him. Read Exodus, study it, pray, praise Him. Don't go back to Egypt.

I live with my sister and her son. I've been praying for 10 years for my nephew to turn from being a heroin addict and turn to follow Jesus. In that time he's been in prison for stealing to support his habit, he's been in hospital for a spinal abscess caused by drugs, he's lied and stolen. I have prayed, fasted and prayed, and prayed some more, but I sometimes struggle to pray. It's the waiting and feeling like no words that are prayed are effective. When I feel I've run out of words, I pray in tongues. Yet still he is using heroin. Lord, please bring deliverance.

The Lord recently delivered me from the exact same thing. In the past, I used to watch pornography, but even after I was delivered from it, everyday i was being oppressed by the enemy, with past images I had seen, and perverted thoughts thrown at me. I would rebuke them and speak the Word of God but still each day they returned. I did not know where it was coming from, because I did not want to watch pornography or fulfill the perverted thoughts, they were not tempting me, they were only making me grow weary and I begin to believe that I would have to live with them. Then thanks be to God, I went on a 21 day fast of omitting meat and coffee ( a huge sacrifice for me) and at the end of the 21 days I asked the Lord if I was taking captive my thoughts correctly, so he led me to do a study on it. I went to youtube and typed in taking thoughts captive and came across a pastor named Jimmy Evans. I listen to his message and learned how he was delivered from thoughts of pornography with biblical meditation. I then read his book on biblical meditation which is only about 80 pages( I found the kindle edition on amazon for 5 bucks) Before reading this book, I thought mediation was speaking a memorized scripture but it is more than that. the first day after applying this to my life I was free! The Lord delivered me. I felt as though my mind was cleansed. I also realized through reading this book that the enemy was not trying to tempt me but he as accusing God. He wanted me to believe that God could not deliver me from this and wear me down to complacently and eventually giving up or into not trusting God anymore. Consider these verses Joshua 1:8 - "And this book of law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you shall be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous and then have good success." Also read Psalm 1:1-4 which supports Joshua 1:8 and there are so many other verses about meditating on the Word. Meditating is literally setting your mind on the Spirit, which the Scriptures tell us is "life and peace". Please read this book if you are continuing to struggle with this. Pastor Evans explains so much that i do not have the room to explain here. It is called " A mind set free," by Jimmy Evans. If you get the kindle version you can read it today in the kindle app on your phone or online. I am praying for you. May the Lord bless you and keep you; May the Lord make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you; May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace." (Numbers 6:24-26)

Listening to this was a blessing. I wasn't even looking for it. But God is faithful and He is always on time. I was about to give up on several ministries at my church but this sermon was exactly what I needed. I was called to my childhood church after leaving it and promising never to return after being falsely accused. But the Lord called me through three different ministers that I had to go back and be part of something great that the Lord is going to do there. Since I've been back it's been attack after attack. The enemy is using my own mother against me. The enemy has tried to infiltrate my marriage and turn my husband and I into rivals. But I will not give up. That fear keeps you from deliberate sin all the days of your life hence God calls you a friend. deliberate sinners are not friends of God i dont care if they are pastors or have been church goers for 50 years they are those that say lord lord but do not do the things he says. hypocrits. So because God is a mighty mighty holy God, we fear him because we are living in such a fallen state of flesh. We understand that God loves us but more than love God is Holy and he will not contend with man if man turns to sin. God is love until you stsrt to give him a bad witness then he judges. That is the healthy fear of the Lord. There is no salvation without it.

You are just posting your opinions. 1st according to the scriptures salvation is by faith in Christ Jesus alone and not of any kind of works (Ephesians 2:8 ). After we are saved then good works becomes our new nature. 2nd if you are fear God(Father), the way you described. Then you don't love God. Because you pretending to love him and trying to keep his commandments so you will not enter hell. 1 john 4:18 kjv There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. You have to love God(Father) the way you love your parents. We fear our parents in a loving way. Not the fear of them truly killing us, if we offend them. But the only people that should fear God in such a way are the unbelievers who are not his children. . Because for we know Romans 8 38(kjv) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

A really great man of God.. What most don't know was how accomplished he was academically and intellectually he was before joining ministry...the youngest Fellowship in Philosophy at Oxford University at only 24 years old...later he counted it nothing for the excellence of Christ..he also did tremendous missionary work in Kenya and raised up undiluted men of God like Apstl Joe Kayo who is still going strong till now...there at very few men of Derek Prince currently.. all we hear is money and cheap grace...we need a revival of the good, old gospel..
