Khan Academy has a free-access course in Financial Literacy. Public schools might not have it in the curriculum, but the training is available for people who want to get it.

That's nice. I think our problem with it is that you don't know what you don't know especially at a young age. The value of it for high school juniors and seniors could be tremendous. - Josh

​@@ExpatsEverywherePodcastWe've had to develop a curriculum for our kids since we know there are things that the local school (could be any school) won't be able to teach. The hardest part is identifying what you want to make sure the kids are exposed to, whether that's financial planning or Shakespeare or international travel.
