Very good idea. I've been complaining for a long time about the fact that you have to take everything off to get to the base box so I don't use it much so it's really useless. I was thinking about cutting a hole in the back of it but I like your idea better. 💡

We have used it a lot. No problems.

Nice job Guys, very impressive your Engineering Skills at a young age. I’ll be doing some of what you did to mine. Stubborn Milwaukee still won’t figure out all of us builders are asking for a door Or preferably drawers in the bottom box. Wake up Milwaukee! The only correction I would make is to not cut into the side corner supports just make the door a little narrower. You also could have made the bottom of the door cut straight we’re you cut above the lifting handle. You really gain enough by cutting around the lift handle all the way to the bottom. Still a great effort and job you did in fabricating a door. I’ve worked on 4-Hollywood Movies in Special Effects and what you did is what we do daily, all day, trying new things. “Most Impressive” as Star Wars Darth Vader would say. 💪🙏

The bottom one should be a pull out or or have some type of Door! It on the bottom. Only one when I have them stacked. That i have to take the ones on top off. It annoying. The others I can leave on and left the lid.

Great idea, now you don't have to unstack and have a portable work station. I still think you need a cross brace on the bottom to make the bottom strong. Mikwaukee needs to make an option like this. I have the Rigid, and have to unstack in a customer's home. It would be nice to not have to unstack.. I'm hoping Rigid makes one . I think there's are less bulky and simple to stack and unstack. You still have to do that in twice a day , going in and out of a job...

If you would leave the plastic at the bottom uncut (let's say not fully cut), you woudn't need the hinges. I guess...

If you put it in a truck and the tools inside hit the door I think that would open.

When your on a job why not just unstack everything while working and then re stack when you are done?
@cabinetshopchronicles41982 жыл бұрын
It’s for those times when it’s all packed away in the truck and you need that one tool out of the bottom. I can get it in seconds rather than unloading the whole stack and breaking it all down. And then putting it all back.
@warped28752 жыл бұрын
meh :-/ No longer weather-proof. Is it really that big of a deal to unstack and restack the stack? As long as it works for you and you are happy with it, I guess that is all that matters. I just roll out the stack to the jobsite, unstack everything, get the job done, put all the tools back in their respective boxes, stack them all up, and roll the whole shebang back to the starting point. Easy-peasy, extra greasy.
@cabinetshopchronicles41982 жыл бұрын
It rides in a panel van or is inside so weather proof isn’t a big deal. But when I have a six foot tall stack and need one small tool. This is way better
