Remember in season 2 All Might explained that AFO accidentally created OFA by giving his younger brother a stockpile quirk. The stockpile quirk combined with the younger brothers quirk to pass on quirks and created OFA making the younger brother the first user.

The fact she was so focused on “it doesn’t matter what he looks like”… She completely blew past what Endeavor really meant by “STAND UP AND SHOW HIM WHY YOU’RE BETTER!!”, quite literally it was his way of telling him “Don’t you dare give up, you’re better than this”…

Yeah exactly. Endeavor is kinda like Vegeta in that sense. He's not mad that All Might/Goku is stronger than he is; he's mad that he's not giving it his all to be that strong.

All Might is much older than he wants to admit (50-60) and Nana Shimura was slightly older than he was, so it makes sense she would have a grandkid in his 20's by the time of the show. All Might's flashbacks to her were like 30-something years ago, so she looked young by then

I make it a point to watch all reactions to this episode because of how it left me in tears at the end. You can tell MHA really is improving on the shounen formula because it makes the fights more than just some action piece (which they still are in their own rights), the series makes them bigger on a deeper level by making it about the characters.

I've seen this episode, too many times...and I STILL tear up watching this. Like you, I thought All Might wasn't going to survive - but instead, it was "just" his end as the symbol of peace. And even now, knowing it, the stand he makes and giving it his absolute all just fills me with emotion. For me, this has been the best story arc so far - though the first story arc in Season 4 is pretty damned good too!

OFA wa made by AFO when he transferred a power stockpiling quirk to his 'quirkless' younger brother. turns out the little brother had a quirk the whole time. It was a useless ability on it's own and simply allowed itself to be transferred to someone else. But the two quirks merged, and the stockpiling quirk gained power as it was passed on, passing on the quirks of those it came too in the process.

One For All is the fusion of 2 quirks, the one that the 1st wielder had, and one that AFO had. Without one, OFA cannot exist, so yes, he is the creator of OFA, at least in a 50/50 Btw, the quirk the 1st wielder had was the ability to pass his own quirk. The quirk AFO gave him was the ability to accumulate energy and transform it into power, that's how OFA born. (they explain it in season 2 so it's not spoiler)
