Interesting, something one doesn’t generally think about, no electricity or no water. That would be a big con.Same in Dallas where I live ,property prices have shot up.Well done with your property.

Do you recommend we hire a management company or do it ourselves? I have only used air bnb once so didnt have a Review, it was in Bucerias and luckily she left me a review, as well as took a chance on me. Thanks for the info!

If you want a hands off approach- definitely hire the manager. If you have time and want to maximize your profit- you can do it yourself but there is a learning curve.

Elena, what’s your minimum nightly stay? Or do you have a minimum? We were at 2 night minimum but recently changed to 3. It was a lot of turnover and a lot of work and it caused more issues for us.

Hi! I change it depending on the season and charge more for shorter stays. Sometimes I allow 1 night stays but in general-2 is minimum.

What kind of toilet??? Gotta be one of those fancy ones, there's hundreds of standard toilet seats at HD as i just replaced them on our last trip.

It was fancy but wasn’t our choice :) developers had made that decision so we now need to work with that 😀
