@@JSomervillefanpage it's a very special memory, I registered with an Extras agency in 1986 and got the call to meet at Blackfriars Bridge to board a bus to the Docklands. There were about a hundred of us and we weren't told about the shoot or the band until the organisers lined us up to walk into a massive warehouse. There we met The Communards and told about the song and what we had to do - just standing in front of the stage as if it was a live gig! It took a few takes, at the end of the song we had to disperse in all directions. It was a brilliant experience and fun, we met Jimmy, Richard and Sarah Jane Morris afterwards. Everytime I see the video on TOTP repeats it makes me smile! I've met Sarah a few times at her solo gigs and Richard at his book events last year. Would like to meet Jimmy one day. This is going in my memoirs - big love and thanks to The Communards!

Great to see this video, always have loved this version of the song and everyone in it, wonderful...but I can't stop watching the backup singer dancing on the left and his "sig" move every time the chorus starts [1:42] ha ha...dunno who he is but I come here and watch this over and over just for that, he brings a little soul back into this classic old "Bluenotes" soul song, it's just awesome 🤣
