I have believed these lies for Far too long, God loves who do the deepest and worst sort of Sins and come on Sunday and put some alms in his offering Box My father has maintained a kind of Godfearing person image but he has physical and mentally tortured and abused us 30 years and he participated in communion for the last 20 years. If this Verse 1 Corinthians 11:29-30 "29For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves. 30That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep." Why was my Dad got ever punished for doing the above for 20 years straight. Just an hour back, I prayed to God that I will never be coming back to him ever again. And I know this video is God asking me and talking to me but I don't have the Energy to believe again and to see Wrongdoers, Adulterers and Fake Godly people laughing on my face for believing that God will come toy Rescue For some strange Reason, even though I know it is God speaking to me, I don't have any confidence in his Word or Promises anymore. Atleast I will be Happy not believing that God is just and he will do what is Just.

I’m so sorry to hear what you’ve been through. Many times God operates in ways that we can’t clearly see or understand. God is very merciful, hoping that none will perish. But His Word will never come back to Him void. We have to let go of our understanding. I know this is hard. Truly, because I’m constantly faced with circumstances that I am frustrated with, disappointed with, and angry with. But there will never be anything in this world that will fill you like God does. And Job from the Bible recognized this. He noted that God gives and takes away, but blessed be His name. And David also battled many times with the wicked laughing at him and mocking him by saying when will his God rescue him. What you’ve gone through and are going through is not foreign to your brothers and sisters in Christ. Our battle is to fight the good fight of faith.

Imagine this. Jesus said that the servant is not greater than the master. If certain things happened to Him, of course they will happen to us. They mocked Jesus at the cross, and He died there. Many times, God’s help doesn’t look like what we want it to. But it is just what we need. We need to trust in Him. Because through what Jesus went through, He brought salvation to anyone who would believe and the Bible said that He was counted worthy to be glorified about all names. The Father’s help brings you to placed you never thought possible. Jesus knows what you’re going through and understands it deeply because He went through it. He’s not someone who can’t relate to you. He literally went through it first and wants to help you. Don’t walk away.

@deflectedmind7932 God loves all people, yes however He hates sin. He hates hypocrisy. So, does God love your dad? Yes. Does He love his sin? NO. And he will have to answer to God for all that he has done (just like we all will). Our downfall as humans is that we look to people to reflect back to us the love and light of God rather in marriage or from our parents etc but we often fall short of giving that love because we live in a corrupted sinful world. I say this from experience, we have to acknowledge that people’s hypocrisy is not a reflection of God. Personally, My moms actions pushed me away from God many, many years because somehow I compared my mom to God in a sense that I thought “if this is how it is to be following God I don’t want anything to do with it”. Until I formed a relationship with God for myself, not because of my mom or any religion. By His Grace Father God revealed Jesus Christ to me in such a profound way. People will fail us but God will never fail us. I turn to God directly now, through Jesus Christ because I know He would never do or say what was done to me. Jesus has taught me so many things since He saved me. For one, I have a better understanding of my mom. She did her best, she did what she could. She isn’t perfect and if I want God to forgive me all my failures/sins then I need to forgive her. He gave me a heart to forgive her and to be a better daughter. He has healed a lot of my wounds. I’m sorry for what you went through, We should be able to turn to our moms and dads for comfort, security and love so you are not wrong for being angry that you didn’t get that but instead you got abused unfortunately. But what I’m saying is that if we Don’t get that love, we always have a better love waiting for us in God. The only way you can truly know God is by residing His Word daily. Don’t give up on Him.. that is exactly what the devil wants you to do. He is behind all the sin and disappointments, the friction and bitterness. When you least feel like talking to God or worshipping Him, is when you need to do it the most! Jesus said COME TO ME when things get hard… not run away. Blessings

Well, I can assure you that as you hear the sermon, it will become clear that the only way to hold fast is through Christ. The sermon is based on this text: Hebrews 10:23 - "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful." Notice the writer uses the same language as the title, "Let us hold fast..." but pay attention to the words that follow, "FOR HE WHO PROMISED IS FAITHFUL." So yes, we must hold fast, but we do so by God's grace.

@@illbehonest thanks for noticing my comment. That imperative should teach us that we cannot follow that. We even cannot breath on our own. That imperative, by grace, will take us to realize that we cannot really obey so that we are led to pray in utter admission of nothingness and to depend fully to the Son for salvation. And give God ALL THE GLORY.
