Skul is like, my favorite rouge like, it’s one of two games I’ve climbed the ascension system and has been one of the few times I’ve felt good at a video game, I think this mod translates well enough, finding two skulls that synergise well with each other and than doing a whole load of nonsense

1:26:21 I can actually tell you what happened here! When you played Surprise Knives, you exhausted a 1-cost card and a Daze. Cards that can't be played are considered to be -2 cost internally, so presumably, Surprise Knives just adds together the cost of the cards it exhausts and spits out that number without checking to see if it's exhausting a status or an x-cost card (x-costs count as -1 cost).
