Dave Ramsey baby steps works!!! All you need to do is be persistent, paitent and change your bad habit and your negative thinking.. I outta know because I'm debt free because of his program! All you have to do is sacrifice stupid thinking.

Excellent show, as usual, but wanted to say you all knocked it out of the park having dialed back the commercials! I know, we all need to make a living, but the show is sooo much more "on-point," & easier to digest now. Well done!

I will tell you as a child of divorce and as a therapist that sometimes it is appropriate it to let the child know what happened from your point of view. While at the same time keeping in mind exactly what you said about not putting the other parent down. It's a fine line to walk.

What about people who are penalized for working overtime because of marketplace insurance?
@BackroadMoney4 жыл бұрын
Would you explain that please?
@andrearipley10874 жыл бұрын
@@BackroadMoney we are currently paying $839. per month for our marketplace insurance premium and if we make overtime (increased annual income), we will lose the plan and have to pay >$2,000. per month with a higher deductible through my husband's work.
@BackroadMoney4 жыл бұрын
@@andrearipley1087 Oh I see, thank you for explaining that. Im sure many people would be in that boat. In that case maybe some part time work somewhere else to avoid that. Would that work?

@@BackroadMoney we tried that and at THE END of 2020 were sent a 1099!!!

@@andrearipley1087 so frustrating!!! What about working for family or friends? Organizing, cleaning, cooking, babysitting, yard work? Im sorry to press on this, I dont mean to. Right now I am cleaning for my daughter for some extra money not budgeted for. We will use this money for projects around the house, painting etc.. I know that is not for everyone. Good luck

Oh Nicholas... £6K car? It's like everyone is concerned about your debt, except you! Stupid is calling you and you're answering "yes". 👀 Why repeat the same nonsense?! And in pandemic times... SERIOUSLY?! You had your own plan. It was a stupid one and your conscience knew it, which is why it led you to call Dave. He gave you the solution and it doesn't involve a year of hustling or sacrifice ... JUST THREE MONTHS MAX of driving a car you don't want to drive. If you can't do that then your debt isn't stressing you enough and maybe you're someone who needs to continue with your craziness until you REALLY reach financial breaking point to get some sense in your head... I'm not trying to be mean but you really need tough love right now - someone to call you an absolute idiot so you get on the right track! Good luck. Do the best thing for your future self! 🙏🏾
