So Informative, This will help me so much. I've always had anterior shoulder pain after and while bench pressing for few weeks in row, my lower body fails to engage and i bring up my neck while pressing heavy loads. I guess I have to re learn my whole technique by pressing bar only for few weeks. Looking forward to upcoming parts of this video. Thanks Dr. Aaron

@bigt-zuz9738

i think minimal. Arching gives you a mechanically superior position to move more weight, but will remove some emphasize off of the pecs

Can’t we just keep the chin down to clavicle to keep the natural curvature of the cervical rather than protracting the head. Keeping your head jammed on a flat bench makes it a little overextended. Correct me if I’m wrong please 🙏🏻

@Janmann2007
@Janmann2007 2 жыл бұрын
Applies to both. Don't use a massive arch in your back and train close to failure in a rep range that gives you a good burn and/or pump in chest/front delt/triceps and you should be putting on a lot of muscle.

@@Atg.po1 it could be inflamed extensors from overuse. Overtime it could cause pain or discomfort if you load too heavy on your bench. Try strengthening your forearm extensors simple wrist extensions/curls
