There's lots to think about including who to tell, when to tell them, what do do about work, what to eat, what to avoid, finding a provider, figuring out a list of questions a first time mom might want to ask their provider....
I will go over lots of this information and more including the differences between a Midwife, an Obstetrician-Gynecologist and a family doctor with experience in obstetrics and when you should be making your first prenatal appointment with them (HINT - its NOW!)
If it's your first pregnancy or you have 6 kiddos already at home watch this video and cruise through this list of 10 THINGS you should do once you find out you're pregnant!

Glad I found this nurse Tina. Waited 20 yrs for this moment . Officially confirmed Friday! I’m 5 weeks now post embryo transfer. A few people know but I do plan to wait for a bit. I have 12 more days before my first ultrasound 10/24. Im Terrified and over the moon at the same time. Once I graduate from my IVF doc Dr Peavy(she’s amazing) I graduate to Maternal fetal health Dr because I am considered high risk. This may be our only pregnancy as in 39 next month I want to enjoy every single day of this miricle❤

My husband and I waited until we were 26 weeks along. It was our first and our parents first grand baby. We just wanted to enjoy this moment together before we became a family of 3.

The first time I was pregnant i told my husband right way (actually he was with me in the toilet staring at the test) and my best friend. My doctor advised me to not announce it formally to everybody and thank God I didn't because I had a miscarriage. I would not be able to go through it without my husband.

I found out I was pregnant the first week of February, and I was initially going to wait until Valentine's Day to tell my husband in some cute and elaborate way... But I couldn't keep it to myself. I had to tell him and my parents right away

Don't smoke, don't drink, don't do drugs. Apart from that you should be okay.

I can look into info on this for you but my favourite person who's super qualified to talk about food in pregnancy and breastfeeding is @jessicaknurick. She's more active on TikTok and Instagram. Great source of info.

I know that for myself, I’d have to coordinate between at least 2 doctors if I get pregnant or am planning to, an OBGYN and my neurologist, cause I have epilepsy, and anti epileptic drugs have an elevated chance of birth defects and maternal seizures are also potentially dangerous for the baby. So, no midwives for me, too risky. Plus, I’ve had pretty bad menstrual cramps and I have heard that more painful periods is correlated to more painful labor contractions, so yeah, I don’t think I could give birth unmedicated. And I would absolutely want to tell my mom right away when I get a positive test, cause if I’m having a miscarriage, I don’t want to have to go through that alone or even with just my partner. Other people can wait, but my mom, immediately after positive test.

I am so sorry to hear. I hope you are ok, well as ok as you can be. Not going to offer any annoying platitudes. I do hope that you have the baby you dream of someday. Take care.

I have a friend to whom I just write "not yet" without mentioning what "it" actually is cause I am too closed to say straight away that I am trying to somebody yet and too exited to be silent. She is just so on the "do it" train with me and waiting till I would explain the whole thing)

I'm not sure if you have a video on this or not yet but I'm a new mother of 2. This isn't my first pregnancy. I just had a second child and me and my husband are STRUGGLING with trying to get my newborn daughter to sleep in her basinet because any time we put her in it she cries and gets fussy after just 5 mins. This wouldn't have been a problem but she was like this in the hospital as well. If you don't have a video on it could you make one for parents struggling with this like I am? I'm also visually impaired and found you watching a ton of shorts one day.

Hello!! I know this isn’t a baby bottle review video, but it’s the most recent video. I am trying to make more “eco friendly” purchases and before I have a baby, I’d like to know if there are bottles out there for me. Could you possibly review the wide neck baby glass bottle by Go Gently Nation?

Isnt alcohol more dangerous than marijuana?
@mamanursetina
@mamanursetina 2 ай бұрын
We know that alcohol can cause FASD. There aren't many studies done on the effects of marijuana and pregnancy or breastfeeding (because testing on pregnant women is not ethical) so there's no way to say 100% one way or another. so the safe thing to say is no substances during pregnancy.
