Ups the 1080s. I’ve always run 880s but I really didn’t like the fit of the most recent version so I switched to 1080. On the first few runs I hated them, it felt like running on marshmallows, but after a few runs they settled in and now I don’t want to run in any other shoe

I don’t like the new 1080. Only wide version for men and too bouncy so switched back tk nimbus. Maybe i Ll try a few more runs in the 1080 before comrades

Tried on new shoes on 40km this weekend.. Shoe is a no for my 2 oceans and comrades and I had bought it specifically for those races. 😢

Nwabisa please try it again few more times..I think it is because it was new..I have had new shoes that didnt feel that great on the first run but went on to be the nest shoes to have. So please run in it a fee more times..What shoes are they?

I’m a slow runner, safe Robert Mtshali, and that’s not the experience I had with carbon shoes, alpha fly 2, last year. Actually felt very comfortable at the end with a 45 min PB and an hour 23 min better than previous year. Maybe am an exception and each one is different I guess.
