@@donnalee. Ahaha, not really, I just remember my own confusion. Not all decoration items have a distinct "broken" skin, but sims still react to them. I used to have them cancelling every plant, statue and whatnot in their sleep (they do it when awake as well, but it doesn't stand out too much because sims move from room to room, and when they're asleep they're in the same spot near the same broken item for a long time and keep going "X" over and over again, so you notice) and I had no idea what it was until my sim was cancelling an end table, I looked at it and saw it was in ruins. Some time later I watched a cat atomise a chair and it clicked
