I downloaded and installed sims 1 music into my sims 2 build/buy folder so I have the perfect blend of nostalgia when I play Sims 2 lol

This is the neighbourhood I use the most, I even have a whole legacy going. I prefer the newer neighbourhoods, because townie sims have better clothes and just look better than the base game clothes and hair.

But why do the houses rated as ugliest resemble the houses in my area so much 😂

Maybe tall sharp roofs are local style? I've never noticed them because where I live all roofs in such houses are high. Helps with heavy snow (it slides down) and adds living space. Lack of windows is definitely laziness though.

I've burst out laughing because I am definitely the one who paid 20k for the worst starter home... I forgot that houses in Sims 2 come without full furnishing, so the beginning was a bit rough. I spent all remaining moneys on windows, changing floor&wallpaper and a nice big bed... Also moved one wall and swapped bathroom and bedroom. But I've raised 10 children in this house, so now I'm biased. It's not that bad if you make a little renovation. And all people do renovation in starter homes.

That first house actually resembles the Simpson house if you add a garage and better rooms

My theory why Desiderata Valley's lots are lackluster is because the developers were busy making The Sims 3 at that time. BTW have you checked the neighborhoods and lots in The Sims Life/Pet Stories? They are pretty good IMO

I was playing the sims and made an enemy out of an ex-girlfriend. Everyday she would come to steal my newspaper. Every. Day. My sim began dating someone else, got married, and had 2 children. One child is almost a teenager and this woman still comes everyday to steal our newspaper. To add more insult to injury, the ex-girlfriend was also married with two teenagers. It was Mary-Sue Pleasant 💀

This was such a cool idea for a video! Some of those builds are… rough 😅 I wish some of them were just a little more creative to go along with the pack’s overall vibe. I would be so down to see another video like this in the future! Happy Sunday 🎉🎉

I find these sims and lore the most boring too.

I think this neighborhood was done in a hurry, or at least as far as the houses are concerned. Because the difference in detail and commitment is more noticeable in the community lots. However, the lack of care for aesthetics, functionality and practicality in the houses is unbelievable, a Lot of them had 2 or 3 Windows!!!. Several of them did not even have a fully equipped or decorated bathroom. I notice an excess of space in the houses as well as ridiculously high ceilings. Some of the houses are nice, like the one in the first part and the others, but I can't say the same for some of them. The neighborhood could have been a little better in terms of lore and better designed houses. One of the best houses in my opinion is Natasha Una's (that's her name in Spanish). Do you have in mind to do an evaluation with the Riverbloom Hills neighborhood or the universities?

Desiderata may not be the best but I still enjoy it a ton! I regularly find myself thinking about John Mole's home because it just gives me such a nostalgic reason for some reason. Some Dutch homes look like that and it reminds me of my childhood haha.

Would you consider rating all of the Lots and Houses bin lots at some point because I remember there being some really weird builds in there

Marq judges lots harshly like I do. I tend to obsess over architectural design until I think I’ve perfected a style. I’d be interested in Marq giving his own scores for our various submitted lots. Either whatever style or maybe a certain theme. I think I’ve got a few that would score pretty well if I say so myself. 😎

Honestly this is my favorite neighborhood in TS2 because it has cozy suburban atmosphere.
