Irina Andreyevna Voronkova (Russian: Ирина Андреевна Воронкова; born 20 October 1995) is a Russian female volleyball player. She is part of the Russia women's national volleyball team and was part of the national teams at the 2015 Summer Universiade in Gwangju, the 2015 Montreux Volley Masters, the 2015 European Games in Baku, the 2016 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix in Thailand, and the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
At club level, she played for Dinamo Moscow, Dinamo Kazan and Zarechie Odintsovo before returning to Dinamo Kazan for a second spell in 2016.

Aside from her spiking, her floor defense is amazing. Her digging is superb and her passing is decent. If she improves on all fundamentals, she could be the next Sokolova.

Also, probably because they relied so much on Gamova and Sokolova through the years so when they left the team there were no offensive option besides Goncharova. Kosheleva could be that other option but she's a liability when receiving.

She's undoubtedly amazing in terms of attacking the ball. It is powerful and actually pretty fast. But we can't deny the fact that her defense is not that good compared to other players. I hope she can improve her defensive skills 'cause she has a lot of potential ❤️

She is improving. Russia needs more confidence and training in defense / serve receive. A lot of plays could be run if they had a good 1st ball. Coaches seem to be non permanent for these girls as well

Not a good player at all, she can hit the ball massively but every time she hits, there is a high chance of getting blocked, and she gets it alot, her recieve and defense are bad as well
