Ive had mine for a while now, got it significantly early and it’s a great EDC knife. It’s a fun little knife and great for its price point with very unique milling. It really piqued the interest of some of my non-knife friends because of its look. Which is always a great thing. One of those same friends were super intimidated by my Arius, after seeing how much of a guillotine it was, and said my Roosevelt felt “cheap” because it is so light. But when I showed him the Mysto, he loved it. Especially because your finger is out of the blades path when you close it. I take the Mysto when I’m doing some seriously dirty work as an HVAC technician, jobs where I don’t want to risk something like my F3 Aquatic, Rosie etc and the Mysto has really shined. I’ve cut so many zip ties with it, used it to puncture some thin 20 gauge sheet metal even. And it is still going strong on the factory edge. Yeah, it’s taken a little damage, but it still works great. I’m planning to run the factory edge into the ground before I sharpen it. Just to see what it can do. I really think, clip screws aside, that the Mysto punches above its actual price point. The springs on mine also sounded a bit crunchy the first couple days I had it, but it went away eventually. Sorry for the ridiculously long comment, but I just had to share how awesome this knife has been.

Really late but I would recommend it in Magnacut. You can find some in Magnacut and G10 at knife center and they do a much better job with their Magnacut compared to their 20cv.

that definitely caught my eye from the shotshow videos I've seen, I really like the milling pattern on the scales and the red thumbstuds and black hardware are a nice touch, I think a milled Ti pocketclip would really go well on it.

This is amazing! I preordered it at KnifeWorks! This is a deal that is worth it. I love it and the best Crossbar lock action and smoothness right out of the box. I cannot recommend it enough. I do recommend a Lynch Ti clip. That is cherry, nuts, and/or whipped cream on top! 🎉👍✌️🤓

Hogue, the name carries some weight, I'm a little disappointed in some of the aspects you pointed out Jerad. Especially when you're talking a price tag north of $300.00. Just recently picked up a KUBEY in full titanium and S90V for a little more than $100.00... and all the boxes were checked. Good video. Thanks

No doubt it is, but I got a lemon out of the box. Mine came in the mail last week and the screws were a bit loose so I tightened them. There was just a hair's worth of side to side play, but tightening the pivot is all it needed. Then I tightened the body screws and the one screw on the pocket clip side (default was right hand carry) and the head of the screw sheered off. It was so weird. I know this can happen, but I didn't expect this considering they are pretty beefy T8's on the body. They are Ti screws too! The knife is great otherwise. I was able to get an exchange and it's supposed to arrive Fri or Sat this week. I've been dying to carry and use it since the screw broke.

Hogue really should have used a hollow grind or a thinner blade stock on this Mysto. Magnacut has plenty of toughness, and most people don't need their EDC pocket knife to be that tough anyway.

Hogue really misses the mark on the pocket clip screws. Do they not carry their own product while wearing normal jeans? They use the same screws on the Deka. I put on a Lynch clip which has more room for the pocket seam and makes it more pocketable.
