During the fall, one of the biggest things I have seen is that bass are feeding on baitfish, and they are feeding up. So one of the best ways to catch bass during the fall is with a spinnerbait.
You can catch a lot of fish and you can catch some really big fish with it and in this video I want to give you 5 tips to help you successfully fishing a spinnerbait during the fall.

Perfect timing, fished today and all I cought was quality fish only on a terminator spinnerbait and at the end of wood. Water temp 63 the bite was slow but biguns when they bit. Best day I have had In awhile.

Spinner bait has gave me a 5.4lb largemouth, and a 4.12 lb spot a week ago plus multiple other fish. Today it gave me a 6.1lb large mouth and a pile of other fish. Nothing like a spinner bait bite.

@@MrDeputy83 it's just according to the situation. Yesterday was high pressure lots of sun and some wind so what worked best was burning a 3/4 ounce over visible brush piles. Other day was low pressure cloudy high winds so slow rolling a 1 ounce deep produced best.

I love a spinnerbait! If I'm around wood 100% throwing a spinnerbait around soft cover a bladed jig but I think so many people started to forget about the spinnerbait and that makes it a deadly tool 👍

I tried it last weekend in white and didn't get anything, but I think it's been a lot of people throwing the blade baits, but the guy before me got 2 LMB at sunrise 🌄 on white color, and then the bite died off. I did good on JerkBait about Noon until 1. I got 7 in that time frame. Good tips, and look forward to some more 🤝

Question..why cut the skirt short just to turn around and put a swimbait that hangs further back than the shirt did initially? I have always wondered why people do this. I used to stick a paddle tail on my spinner. But i cant honestly say that i caught more fish on it than i do now without a trailer.

I have been trying spinnerbaits but the river here has really been muddy and cold latey. I tried white and also chartreuse. I've never caught a fish on one though. Lol. I threw them around wood and docks today. I had a fluke trailer on it. I have also tried a white Chatterbait with fluke trailer. I am in Ohio. I usually catch my bass on wacky rigs, crankbaits, jerkbaits and topwater.

@@justinpootin4021 Usually Its pretty shallow and I throw it along laydowns. Im pretty sure I had a bite against a sunken post yesterday but I didnt hook up. I been getting them on crankbaits and a popper the last 2 days now.

They are not feeding up for winter. No need to. Reaction baits and lures that mimic schooling shad and forage in the fall is probably why spinners work well.

Me and my dad were fishing a tournament we crushed them on spinner bait and I casted to this ole tree and put my rod tip under water to go under tree when I pulled my tip up it was in a 5 pound bass mouth great fall bait keep it in heavy cover

Slayed it over the weekend with a Spinnerbait !! Biggest was 6 1/2 lbs ( not bad for Massachusetts) Got good numbers each trip out . Most were cruising the outside edges of weedlines near deeper water . Bluegill pattern has been the most productive. Great video as always

In small high pressured ponds do you think it'd be better to run a spinner bait without a trailer? Also paddle tail trailers are they better then say throwing a fluke style if you are gonna use a trailer?

Try a grub for a trailer . Paddletail might give you too much uplift .

I use a 1/8oz spinnerbait with a single Colorado. As for the trailer I use a zoom finnesse trick worm .I cut in half and use the tail section if I want action and if it's colder water or if they are nipping I will use the other half putting the eggsack on first and threading so the nose of the worm is even with the skirt.also try a white blade with a white or shad color skirt

@@kylesmith3211 I like to customize my skirts and blades to what baitfish are at my waters another good one is if there are sunnies is a gold blade with a watermelon/gold shiner skirt with a watermelon worm

We are at about 55-60 here in Ohio. I’ve found I get too many snags on grass with cranks and trebs. Spinnerbaits are always my go to but I know a lot of people who don’t have luck with them.

Always find it a little difficult to find a spinnerbait with all of the features I like. Right wire diameter, right blades, right hook size, right colors, good trailer keeper. I do like that spinnerbait bite and action though!
