Very nice video and editing skills. No extra fluff, just the straight info and done. I like it. Also good job on the epoxy table too.

Looking online, a bare, unpainted cornhole board is just over a hundred dollars. A finished board goes for 250-300. How much did you spend in materials?
@RK3Designs3 жыл бұрын
We build our boards from scratch and material run about $98. Many times we use the boards to teach finishes in our classes, build the frames then donate them to local Charities in our community. They then auction them off. We raised a little over $11k last year.

Have you ever tried to make an adjustable wood framed screen cover to prevent bugs from getting on your projects? I made some for my cookie decorating trays & it worked great until I could afford a bakers rack with a zippered cover!

No I haven’t but sound awesome. I really don’t worry too much about them since we now put the ultimate Top Coat on just about everything. We just sand those little bugs out 😊😊

So if your doing the ultimate top coat does that mean you don't have to do a flood coat at all??? That would save some if you don't.
@RK3Designs3 жыл бұрын
I always tell people if your color coat turned out nicely and there’s not a lot of imperfections, you can skip the flood coat. However, if your surface is going to be a high traffic area, take the extra time and material and do the flood coat. UTC is incredibly durable, but the extra flood coat could be added insurance.

I noticed you are applying UTC to a cornhole board . Does UTC affect the ability of bags to slide?
@RK3Designs3 жыл бұрын
It’s actually makes it so much better. We supply boards for tournaments and they LOVE the UTC. 😊

@@RK3Designs do you get sponsors to buy boards with their names on at tourneys? Kenny should have team “RK3 Designs... Kenny’s Cornhole Kings”😊

Nice little video, I've done the bugs 3-4 times. I liked the extra on the UTC, always helpful to review. I agree on the water and drizzle back into cup and watch for no mounding pile. Thanks again. 👍🏻👍🏻
