After catching over 15 shiny Hisuian Voltorb, I noticed they didn’t have any self destructing moves, so don’t worry about them KOing themselves!

last night i was shiny hunting for a few hours, and found 31 shiny hisuian voltorb, 10 shiny voltorb, and 1 shiny foongus. I'm going to try to get 31 of each. 1 for myself, and the rest for friends/family, and any left over are getting surprise traded after the event is over.

@@zemsarutobi3874 a few. have a dusk mark, an uncommon mark, and a sleepy-time mark. all of them are the hisuian voltorb

Because once I started self destruct method I noticed that the message about thinning numbers never popped up no matter how many I would despawn (and they kept spawning and map mark was still there) It wasn’t until I went back to the knock out w/Pokémon method that the outbreak ended (shortly after might I add) and I found like 15 of the hisuian shinies!! So I decided to get a few regular ones and this time I didn’t even bother with a sandwich and I caught 5 of them (plus a lot of the hisuian ones were after sandwich power ended)

I didn't have Shiny Hisui Voltorb yet but now I already got two, I hadn't even thought about Marks! I'll wait until the event ends to choose which one to keep, wish me luck! I might even use the Academy Shake from Blueberry's cafeteria for a bit more Title Power. UPDATE: I managed to get a Marked one! Nothing fancy, just Sociable, but still!

I hunted for a marked shiny Hisuian Voltorb and I ended up finding a jumbo shiny!! I used a level 3 sparkling, title and humongo power sandwich.

(S&V event) I just explode voltorbs in overworld without auto attacking or encountering, just let them explode, it doesnt lower the outbreak but it increases shiny odds without using sandwiches. Just run past them to when the explode themselves. I gotten 11 shiny voltorbs within a hour doing this. 😅

I noticed this, I did it normal at first but I thought self destruct despawn would be faster and next thing I know the outbreak is seemingly never ending. And once I went back to regular method, it ended shortly afterwards
