If you love ancient India you won't want to miss this one.
Continuing my journey traveling through incredible India on my Royal Enfield I visit Ellora caves in Verul, Maharastra.
Ellora Caves is a collection of Hindu, Buddhist and Jain Monolithic temples dating back to AD 600, this place is truly incredible. These ancient Indian temples are carved out of one piece of rock (monolith), from the mountains they reside in. Some of these monolithic temples took 200 years to build, which is mind-blowing! You can freely explore all of these ancient temples in this complex and imagine what it would be like to be there in its heyday. In this video, we get to take a look at lots of the amazing stonework of the deities carved here still standing from all that time ago. Personally, my favorite part was getting to explore Cave 16 which is a monolithic temple carved top to bottom out of the front of part of the mountain incredibly detailed and hard to believe without seeing it. Inside cave 16 is a giant Shivling carved out of the same piece of temple rock! A very high-energy place to visit. It is hard to wrap my head around the fact that this was all made using human power and hand tools to create such impressive structures.

I wonder why this site is not amongst seven wonders. Carving single granite rock piece from bottom is truly superhuman. TAJMAHAL is nothing infront of such mind-boggling site.

Kailash temple and Ellora caves should be a wonder of the world, because this temple made by cutting a single mountain rock starts from upper side of rock, temple looks like chariot from upper side, sharpness and ages of carvings are marvellous with multi storied architecture of temple. Kailash Temple is dedicated to lord shiva and one of the temple side wall carving displays Ramayan scenes and Mahabharat scenes. Some carvings displays the lord shiv and goddess Parvati marriage scene.

My supposition, the Kailasha temple/Ellora caves were accidentally built by the lost wax casting method. Flowing molten lava from an erupted volcano poured into Laksha/wood Mould (Mould created due to the burial of a temple made of wood and Laksha into sand). The people of town buried the Kailasha temple/Ellora caves (Mould made from wood and Laksha) with sand to save it from destruction caused by lava which created Laksha/wood Mould. Molten lava evaporates Laksha/wood and takes the place of Laksha/wood Mould and cooling of lava when the volcano silenced forms a monolithic Kailasha temple/Ellora caves once sand is removed.

If he buddha was avtaar of vishnu then how many Buddha or buddhist temple made by hindus like they made temple for other avtar of Vishnu's like ram and Krishna in almost every village and cities . Or they just claim Buddha as vishnu avtaar to claim the ancient buddhist heritage as their own ,bcz buddhisam almost disappeared from India and no buddhist was there for around 1000 years to protect their heritage . Even Mahabodhi temple which is the most important buddhist site of buddhisam in bodh gaya , occupied by the so called hindus/Brahmins even till today to fill their pockets

Tajmahal is way too over-rated. Ellora caves too under-rated. If any modern civilization were to undertake doing this (carving out a mountain at this level of intricate details), it would never be able to do it. The closest to this is Mt. Rushmore in USA and the Petra Temple in Jordan (but the level of details and complexity of those is no where close to Ellora caves).
