Also, if you're moving here from a blue state, please leave your woke politics at home. People in Montana are traditionalists, and know which bathroom to use.
@MikeCris10 ай бұрын
This is such an old and tired argument. Most people (70%+) that are moving, especially those considering places like Montana, are conservative. People don't move to a new place and suddenly take over the politics. Nobody needs your dopey advice "just don't bring your politics"...it's not unique or useful.

Unless you move to Missoula. The most liberal City in Montana. I lived there for 45 years and managed to escape. Will not move back. Currently in Eastern Washington. Mostly conservative over here.

How big of a concern is seismic acticity in Montana, especially with Yellowstone and all? I watch Earth Master on KZbin and he constantly goes over reports on seismic activity from the USGS.

@@RadiantRealty Well there has been a recent uptick in earthquake activity around Yellowstone, I believe just the other day something like 100 tremors around Yellowstone...
@RadiantRealty10 ай бұрын
I know even when we moved here 9 years ago there was some talk of activity there and some strange animal migration patterns pointing to unusual activity. We are located closer to Glacier National Park but I'm pretty sure if something were to happen it would be widespread. We have had two very small earthquakes since our move to Montana. I never felt them but heard about them the next day.

I lived in an Eastern state in a rural area grew our own food built our own homes and barns couldn't see a neighbor from where I lived cut our own firewood hunted our own meat . Moved to western Montana ( Eastern Montana is much different) for awhile and discovered most ( not all _) live in town, don't grow their own food don't cut their own firewood couldn't build a barn or home of they had to but think they live more rural. Saw more yuppies' there than most other places. Millionaires playing peasant is what I saw a lot of
@RadiantRealty26 күн бұрын
Haha, I believe that. Eastern Montana is no joke. I have assisted several clients here in Western Montana that have built their homes from the trees on their land and lived off it but that certainly is the minority.

It's not really like the old days Casey. People are able to have groceries and food delivered to their doors, work from home, and never even go out in the cold if they don't want to. What you are saying might be true for rural Montana but for the cities it's not quite how it used to be anymore. That said, there are still some people who struggle with so many gray days and so many cold days. Hence, the video. ;p Have you lived in Montana your entire life?

@@RadiantRealty How do I get involved in Real Estate in the state of Montana as a means of buying property if I'm from another state? I'm young, 31 and have never owned a home, a millennial like many who are kind of stuck at home. But I'd like to know how to get into Real Estate.

If you simply want to purchase a home or property in Montana while residing in CA that is fairly simple these days. I give very detailed virtual tours to clients. Some of them purchase without ever visiting to see the home in person first while others will make the trip once we are under contract prior to the inspection contingency date. The title company is able to arrange a mobile notary for signing documents and it is all very smooth. If you would like to setup a time to chat further via phone or zoom you can do so here. I would be happy to learn more about your needs and timeline. calendly.com/radiantrealtymt If you are asking about becoming a Realtor here in Montana that is a much different answer, but I'm happy to discuss that as well if desired. Just let me know.
