I remember playing this game over 20 years ago.... Good times. One small piece of advice I would give to new players is simply; If you mouse over something and the name that shows up in that bar over the characters has a capital letter at the start of its name this means it can be interacted with in some way. There's a fair few things to be found in the game that look the same as normal, but now have a capital letter at the start of their name. Something to keep an eye out for.

Oh, forgot to mention, you can also use the space bar for "clicking on stuff", just make the item more or less centered on the viewing screen area. Good for hovering up loot and dead bodies after a fight. Or when you're looking for that one brick in a room that opens the secret door.

Im playing the games in a weird order lol! I'm starting with 7 and 8 since they were on sale, then next month im playing 6 and 10 because they come in a bundle (I think 10 is a semi-sequel to 6?). Skipping 9 because the world just looks so bland.

That is cool. I've played 8 than 7 and finally 6. I did play 9 and did not like it at all. The devs messed that up. I did enjoy 10 however Ubisoft nuked my save. I think 10 is a different universe.

I have a question. At Tatalia on the west island there is an alloyed weapon shop. It wont let me in and just says "nothing there". What do I do to enter? The armor shop next to it is available.

That is bug in the base game. If you have the Greyface patch that is all over the internet than it will fix that shop. It's one of those stupid bugs that never got fixed when the game was out back in the day.

How are you playing this? Just bought this on GoG, on a modern computer with Windows 10, the outside perimeter of the game is cropped off. I can’t fix it even by playing with the screen resolution settings in windows. Anyone else experience this and know how to correct it?

My copy played fine at the time when I did record the video years ago. If your having issues best way to go is to set Admin mode than set it to Windows 7 or Windows XP if things are getting worse. Read also try resolution lower than 1280x960. If it comes to worst than greyface patch and if you can find it the resolution patch.

@@LordFentonGaming After a binge on playing Wizardry 8 and Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and 4, I decided to try Might and Magic VII (the most interesting of all RPGs of that franchise to me) for the first time, but I have noooo idea where to start and how to play it decently. Being a martial arts addict, one of my characters will definitely be a Monk, and one of the others a Sorceress (dedicated to my fiancée) specializing in Fire Magic. :)

if you find a town portel guy in your first day go to burrow dows as soon as you can clear out your your castel first then go to the downs thers a chest that telly ports you if you open it wen in fighting mode you can get a lot of gold and some realy good goodys then use your town portel this gives you a very good start

Dwarf sorcerer and Druid Elf + Goblin Ranger. Armor doesn't protect against magic. Walk nude amongst dragons. The strongest weapon is a dagger and a mace combined. The strongest earth spell early on is stun + speed. Since you can stun a dragon and the dragon will skip their turn.

It is fun. Ok anyways about the saves either check your Good Old Games file or this. Some people said it might be in this x86\3DO\Might and Magic 7\Saves\ folder. So check anything like it and make a copy. Good Old Games sometimes have issues with certain games on saves.

The best all round team is three humans and the elf in the sorcerer spot. One human should be a druid with alchemy being the most important skill. Can reach to the highest level in alchemy. later accumulate all the elements of magic because he's a druid and operate up to master level. next human make a ranger, most important skill being 'disarm trap'. make sure you keep leveling up on this skill. at level 15 you can open any trap without incident. he also can do all the elements of magic but only up to expert level. Also make sure he has bow skill in the beginning also. Get the bow for everyone else a little later on. next human is cleric, most important being merchant, health and spirit magic. Can only use 3 magic levels beginning. spirit, health and mind magic all up to grandmaster level. later he can acquire the very important light skills at the grandmaster level once the light quests are accomplished. For the sorcerer elf the most important in the beginning is ID item. they can use all four elemental magics but start with air and fire. later water and earth. all can reach grandmaster level which is the highest level. light magic can be used by this sorcerer or sorceress after the book of divine intervention quest. a fairly difficult quest. water magic will be the most important for most of the game for everyone who can wield it. get acid and water walk as soon as possible. take extreme care against the Queen of the Dead and the Blood Titan. Tolberti is easy once you're at level 46.

That is very good tips. I liked the most is the druid since potions you can save money plus make your own which is great. This game has so many great combos to get through it.

Never play thief in this game. Even if You will succes on stealing something, You are going down with reputation, and You can't sell it. And money are never problem, anyway.

Thieves are nice because of certain skills that are useful at GM. Stealing is one option however enchanting is another better option for cash.
