Awesome video. Work on that hookset though bud just for future reference. With these type of baits you don't have to set the hook terribly hard because theyre treble hooks, but you definitely still wanna load it up with your rod. Remember, set the hook with your rod not with your reel.

If you change up your rythm / cadence, you’ll trigger a strike quicker. Ex ; ( reel in slack, twitch , reel, twitch twitch pause, reel, twitch, reel, twitch twitch twtich reel, pause.

@@Jaden_Yamada oh dude, you’re doing GREAT! 👍🏼 your natural instincts are making you cast into the right spots! Slow down and let the lure do the work, you just gotta handle the rod. ( it’s summertime, so fish get heat stressed. ) the fishes will find cooler water, shade and etc like how we do. With that being said, they also slow down so they don’t stress out and their eating habits change towards something easy to eat. Over working your lure or reeling too fast will make some fish ignore it. This changes during every season!
