Currently using the silicone grip cover since I don'thave an sPen yet. It's useful for me since the Z4 is kinda on the heavy side and the grip gives me an added sense of security of not dropping the phone. The downside I think is the rubbery texture and grip is bulky and gets snag when you putting it in the pocket. But could also be an advantage where it wont accidentally fall off from your pocket. The rubber coating now starts to fade on the edges. And the garter grip I can feel starts to stretch after a month of use. Thanks for your review.

For my preferences, I would prefer a case with hinge protector as well. The official case for Samsung Z fold is great, but it would be even better if it comes with hinge protector option. I'm using one now that protects all. One of my friend drop his Z fold on the floor, hit at the hinge. Permanent scar right away...

When you have the pen attachment on, you can turn your phone sideways and the pen holder acts as a stand when you are writing.

I just tried it and yep, you can do that if you have the volume buttons at the top. And as long as you rest your hand on the screen, you can write/draw comfortably towards the top of the phone without it tipping. Also, thanks for the question. As for that wobble id attempt placing the pen attachment underneath the far left side. If there is still a tiny wobble flip that slim attachment over and see just how much of that wobble can be eliminated. Much like when a table or chair lobbies you place a small piece of folded paper or shim of some type under one of the legs to get rid of the wobble when you first sit down and try to use it but your not a woodworker and don't have the ability to cut down the slightly longer legs causing you the problem. So this may be a bit of a hack or temp fix,but hey if the attachments just sitting there why not simply choose to place it under the left flap of the phone to lessen that frustration of the phone wobble each time you try to use the pen on the left side of your screens. Its not like your going to be pressing so hard as to need worry about the attachment breaking or getting cracked. Its rated to take a short sudden fall. As its part of the cases job to protect the phone itself from falls and scratches. Hope this helps someone. I know how much I'd enjoy being able to draw and sketch or even take notes if I can ever upgrade past my current S9 Samsung phone.

I made my own case, 2 in 1. I use Samsung Standing Cover for my back case(use the stand) and Spigen Thin Fit for the front. So, i put my S Pen at the side with Spigen front cover and use the stand at the back with Standing Cover. Then, i can easily put in my car mount also. 😄

Slim standing case is the best option if you don't plan on using the pen

Odd that Fold cases use tape to hold on when Nerf figured out how to make a case for the DS that didn't... and I think all it was, was a hedge and that's it not hard.

I just ordered the z-fold 4 case from Taiwan the S pen goes in the back when you place it in the back it somehow has an ejection feature kind of like a real pen

All the front covers I've tested so far pop off pretty easily, the Latercase had the nicest back, but the front came off the easiest of all the ones I've tried so far. I don't understand why there's been so much trouble with the front screen protection. The Samsung Aramid case for the Fold 3 fit perfectly in the front and back.

That's a tough combo to find. I'm actually still researching s pen cases for a future video so I don't have a solid recommendation on that yet. However, I've used the Spigen Thin Fit P on the Fold 3 and that was a great S Pen case that supported wireless charging and offered great protection, but it didn't have a kickstand. Everyone talks about the regular S pen and S pen pro, but i hardly see anything about the features (or lack there of) of the S pen Fold 4 edition.

Its such a bummer that samsung released so many cases for fold 3 and 4 while giving nothing to fold2. Getting cases for older model is a real challenge and samsung stopped selling them very fast. With fold 3 they offered a variety of cases. Now with other companies the offering suffers the same problems.

Na that's the worst, it's slippery as heck, it scratches with no effort and it doesn't stay on even with the tape. It's $80 trash and I sent mines back and with with the slim armor.

The best option for S-Pen users seems to actually be the silicone cover with the grip removed. No wobble when drawing or taking notes, and no dead zone due to magnet interference.

I've used their leather cases on previous devices. They are pretty basic cases that come at a pretty high price. They are definitely good feeling cases, but there are better options out there for the price. If you could get it for free with the phone, then it's definitely a good case, just not easy to recommend purchasing at the full price.

all the samsung cases are way too thick, just makes the phone super bulky, i just went for a skin for my z fold 4, sure it doesnt offer the best protection, though i have a glass screen protector on the frontand i fugure the main screen is always protected anyway as the phone is closed. i just want a slim non bulkly phone to carry around..

Youre holding it wrong! The whole point of it is to use the strap when unfolded. Then obviously you don't hold it in right hand and operate with left hand as a right handed person! Can someone please post a proper review of this case? 😭😭😭

lol, all phones definitely feel so much better without a case on. And I'd love to not use a case at all, but I've got 4 kids under 7 so my phone is bound to break at some point if I don't have a case on it haha. I thought about just getting an accidental damage protection plan, but then I don't want to be without my phone for any extended period of time either if it did break.
