It really is too bad this game didn’t have SOME sort of save mechanism because I think it would have garnered a lot more longevity if it had. Even though it was quite popular upon release, a lot of people have forgotten about it now and I think that’s because so few people want to jump into a save file they know they’ll need to play for several hours, knowing they’ll likely fail. As cool as this game is, I don’t blame Mark for not finishing it.

It’s moreso that people don’t want to support the dev. He has a history of harassing streamers who say anything remotely critical. There was one dude (don’t remember his name) who streamed this game for over 100 hours, then the dev hopped on, ruined his game for two hours, insulted him, threatened to “leak his dms” then blocked him. There are videos about it, I think it happened in 2020

gotta be honest, in spite of this game's massive flaws that led to mark (entirely rightfully) never finishing it, i always find myself coming back to this series. i'm deeply fascinated by the concept; the situations in this game are so real and so horrifying, from what you find on the internet to the fact you have to be completely silent if you even _suspect_ someone is after you. I'm not saying the game's portrayal of the dark web in itself is correct, but as someone with a morbid fascination for the pits of humanity, seeing these horrific websites laid out in a manner that reminds you there is someone in real life who does things like this... it creeps me the feck out.

I mean, the implication is that the minigames are part of counter-measure software that was acquired (through Adam, if the first game is anything to go by) to defend yourself. The minigames are just interfaces (GUI) for the act of turning the type of attack back on the attacker, or at least deflecting it. So by 'winning' the minigame, you're disrupting the hacker through the counter-measures, and setting _them_ back, instead of them setting you back.

Mark, you could get a whole series out of this. Apparently this game is really hard to complete. But theres some tips for completing it. Basically, you need to stop using WEP wifi as soon as possible. The other types will help lower your chances of getting swatted. If Noir opened up your window, you're in luck, because If you hear sirens approaching, you should turn off your computer and hide IN THE SHOWER. That's the only place the swat doesn't check. Secondly. You did a great job keeping that door locked, but it won't stop the hitman. If you hear footsteps approaching your door, it's either the hitman or someone else. I dont remember his name, i think its Breather, though. Regardless, if you hear footsteps approaching your door MAKE SURE IT IS LOCKED. If you then hear lockpicking sounds, TURN OFF ALL OF THE LIGHTS IN YOUR HOUSE AND YOUR COMPUTER. Turning off all the lights makes the hitman think you're not home, and he'll leave MUCH faster. HIDE IN EITHER THE CLOSET OR THE BATHTUB. DO NOT PEEK, EVER. DO NOT MAKE A SOUND. If you leave your lights on he'll take forever to leave, and if you leave your computer on he'll wipe your notes AND steal a LOT of your DOS coins. After you THINK he's left, you need to turn on the lights otherwise Noir will get you. Secondly, you NEED to remain quiet, because the hitman may be trying to trick you into thinking he's left. Finally, you should almost NEVER look through the peephole if hitman is out there, he'll probablu shoot you in the head through the peephole if you do, something he is apparently famous for. There's some cues as to whether or not Breather is gonna come get you. However, sometimes he'll appear even without cues. One clue is he will call you and you'll hear either heavy breathing, maniacal laughing, or him telling you he's coming to find or get you. If you hear him in the hallway, do not look out the window or through the peephole. Once he starts fidgeting with your door, DO NOT HIDE. You have to remain completely silent AND hold the door shut. This can take several minutes. Theres also another way breather can get you. When you're getting packages, before you get them you should hide in that nearby door for several minutes, make sure he's not there, then get your package, go BACK into the room, and hide there for several more minutes. Basically, if you go to pick up your package and you can't, you're already dead. Same with if you cant get back into your apartment complex. That's why you should preemptively hide for several minutes. If he comes up to the door you're hiding in, you fight him off the same way as If you were in your apartment. Shut up and hold the door shut. You already know how to fight noir, just look away for 30 seconds. I won't lie, this game is VERY hard, but you're the king of FNAF, so I think this challenge shouldn't be too much for you. It'll just be very time consuming. If you decide to do it, then good luck, I'm rooting for you!

Honestly if the player character was at all informed he wouldn't get swatted in the first place. The deep web is commonly hidden behind Tor onion links that obfuscate IP addresses, and can only be accessed when tunnelling through Tor. As such, it'd be bloody difficult to find anyone using Tor in the first place, and blacklisting Tor entry nodes is also very difficult for authorities because only the exit node is visible to outsiders.

Tips: the noir won’t attack unless you confront them, turning your back on them for 30 secs makes them go away. The breather is in the alley, that’s why the room is there. When retrieving a package hide in the room to look if he comes to the door, you will see the door move slightly before he kicks it in lift up the handle, continue doing this until he leaves. After three or more packages he will run at you before getting to the door. The hitman you will require motion sensors on either side of the door, turn off all the lights and pc and hide in bathroom before he enters or he will shut off the power. The doll maker is a secret side quest killer activated by the website, to survive him you must buy the lolpy floppy disc and put it in the pc in the lobby to find a woman. For the swat just change wifi often, VPN find green spots around the building to get the best doscoin income. Your flashlight can run out, conserve it. LIKE SO MARK CAN SEE

This game always freaked me out because I always felt that it was real in someway somehow & it’s just uncomfortably weird. So, I came back to this video because of information I learned regarding this particular stream. Similar to Clustertruck, apparentally the dev behind this game embedded a backdoor into the files, allowing him to remotely control the game itself and everything that occurs within. Though unlike the Clustertruck livestream, where the devs futzed around with the visuals and tried to cheer Mark up from his rage at the time, the dev in this stream decided to manipulate the game so that it would constantly screw Mark over. I wonder if they would've still done it if they had known that doing so would make the experience so miserable for Mark that it caused him to quit the series entirely?

mark in regards to the guy that shot you at the end, lucas. he will break into your apartment. that it why it is always important to make sure the door is locked. the warning sign for him is that you will hear the door handle jingle. that is him trying to pick the lock. run to the bathroom and hide in the tub. be very careful he is known to pretend that he left and will kill you. you can counter him by buying motion sensors and placing them in the hallways near your door. that way you know if he is coming and you have time to hide. but if you get the motion sensors also get the app on the computer that alerts you to when they go off.

Motion detectors can warn you of Lucas, as can footsteps and the sou d of him picking your lock. Before Lucas (The Hit man) enters the room, make sure to turn off all lights to make him leave sooner, turn off your computer to as well, and then hide in the shower, DO NOT LOOK PEEK OUTSIDE. When Lucas leaves, turn on all the lights immediately to prevent the Noir from killing you. There's a chance the power will go out while Lucas is still in your room. Look out for the Noir when that happens, the Noir also tend to appear if you have clicked on a link and it is not loading. If you are to leave The Doll Maker site up and go check your door you will see The Doll Maker standing there with one of his dolls and presents you a side quest. Holding the VPNs on the wall until you find a spot where they turn green held you find the best place to leave them. Hope this helped.
