Bless you for taking care of these two beautiful babies. Next week it will be 12 years since Merry and her mum Molly adopted us. They were feral cats and we had looked after Molly as much as we could and she brought her kittens to us having carried them across a busy road to our large garden. We kept Molly and Merry (named because we first met her on the day the Christmas lights were switched on. A couple of years later Merry went missing for a few days and came home with her left eye in a terrible mess. We think she had been in a fight. The vet had no choice but to remove her eye. Sadly Molly is now OTRB but Merry is a spoilt, pampered house cat who has helped me through the loss of my Dad in 2017 and my Mum in 2022. Next week, on her “gotcha day” and “official birthday” I will be retiring so she sit on my lap as much as she likes without me disturbing her to go to work.

Uno has such a big bright look in his eye - so he does. Little cats seem to suffer damages to their eyes very easily. I've only seen a little white poodle with one eye. Lovely soul... a black button would have matched his wee black nose
