Physics calculations are usually done on the CPU not GPU so turning down the graphics probably doesn't help all that much. It can help to close all unnecessary applications running in the background

Have you experimented with Plank Flying in this game? I figured out that you can clip through walls with how fast you go. It can get you from corner to corner on the Lee's Chemicals map in a few seconds. I used it on the final level and beat it in about 10 seconds.

How did you modify the game code? There's a few things I want to disable. EDIT: Read description. It's modded. Turns out the Shoot function is not clamped. Set projectile to "gun" and scale to 100 and got similar results. AND MY SYSTEM HANDLED IT BETTER! Apparently 12700k can handle better. Have Radeon RX 6600 for GPU. EDIT EDIT: Don't go above 100. Made that mistake like you and got similar results. Hardware can do it but the software limitations cannot.

I always find it funny when big boom explodes in Teardown and fps becomes low and EVERYBODY says oh my computer can't handle this... when it's not your computer that is the problem but the game is struggling to work... not the PC... the components aren't even being utilized as much... so infact your PC doesn't run hot... it runs cooler xD
