Its the same with literally all games, youtubers and streamers ruin games willingly for views. Alll the time.

@Sylvus66 then the same sheep are the first ones to complain the games boring when they didn't even play 70% of it, just mindlessly following guides to get ahead not realizing they're skipping all the fun along the way.

Great take on the game. I think this should be mindset for many games. Yt has really messed up so many games even multiplayer showing everyone every second what the new meta is

Before Palworld even came out there were videos posted the day before from early access content creators showing you the best spots, the best pals etc. it's way too minmaxed and hand holding now. Everyone just races to try and get some cheap views I guess.

Great take on current gaming tbh. Wikis ruined terraria and Stardew for me lol. But it kinda made me actually get through games like dark souls 😂

After a certain point sure I could see looking it up. You're stuck, you need help, you just cant figure it out, great the game stumped you (likely as intended) and you need some help. But yeah a game like Palworld isnt that haha

@@Sylvus66 Definitely. Found myself doing exactly what you said in the video in most games recently, and I definitely enjoyed them more. Another thing I found was not reading reviews before I got a game (obviously assuming it wasn’t a total flop). Doing that really helped going into a game with an open mind and not preemptively nitpicking things.

well now I know about the blue eyed infernal dragon pal and the golden AK-47 in dungeon number 6, so thanks for the spoiler! 🤣

I always try to beat games with no guides unless I get truly stumped on something

Yeah exactly. If I'm super stumped, sure I might google it. But thats about it. I just dont get the point of following someone elses notes, it feels like homework lol

@@Sylvus66 I feel like the new Rogue Trader game failed in that aspect. Lot of my friends were forced to go online to find builds because some of the fights in the game are, well, kind of shitty balance wise. If you want to play at hard difficulty, or god forbid, even higher difficulty than that, you need to optimise the hell out of the characters. No leniency allowed. Go full in for builds you probably don't even know exist until you have actually played the game fully. That isn't good balancing when the only way to process without frustration, even in medium difficulty is to have to commit to optimising this hard, especially with the pretty shitty (info wise) level up layout you get. I tend to agree with going in blind personally, but if you are going in blind with no class builds in mind for rogue trader, ye will suffer.

Very well said. I feel the same way, specially with games like this. I watches one video of someone playing it for their first time just so I could see what the game was like to play before buying it. Having things just handed to you ruins games.

Yeah totally watch someone start the game see if it's your thing that makes sense. But others that follow all these guides is just puzzling to me

I completely agree, I've been doing this and the feeling I had when I solo killed my first world boss was amazing.

Even unlocking one of the new buildings or something and figuring out how to use them can be exciting. Trial and error, messing around, its all part of the fun

BRROO I was just telling this to my wife. I feel like I'm 4 again playing Pokemon red for the first time. I don't know who is who, where to go what to do. Figuring out who is good who isn't. Just catching them all and trying everything trial and error

Yup it's insane. Even trying the weapons out, assigning different pals to work etc is all fresh and fun. I'll get 100 hours out of this game easy! Not to mention the huge map

I love when people leave put facts to make their narrative work. We had guide books and cheat code books growing up. So there is no difference in what we did and what these kid do today.

Nowhere near the same thing. And they were not commonly used since they cost money. Nice try tho!

@Sylvus66 too bad you don't have facts to make that statement true. Also something i did leave out is we also had websites like Gamefaq. So yea let these kids game how they want to game. Don't try to act like back in our day we had it rough, because we really didn't.

This game is going to be dead in about 3 weeks. That's my prediction. Only partially revived by whatever DLC or Big Update the Devs push out. So no this isn't the sung hero that defeats Pokemon as some have already claimed.
