to everyone at spring spanish: thank you thank you thank you for your videos. my family speaks more latin american/mexican spanish and they don’t really have the time to teach me spanish and i’ve been searching for months for a mexican spanish channel. i found you guys by paulisima’s short videos. i picked up some words from my family and i heard those words on your videos. i’m so happy knowing i’ll be able to speak with my family and be connected on a whole other level. i love all of you teachers so much you don’t understand how happy i am that i found you ❤️

Every time I've been to Spanish speaking countries, Mexico and Colombia especially, people are always impressed with using these chunks. in Colombia they often use Quiubo? Que mas pues? of Que mas? or todo bn?

I'm from Mexico city, I've lived there more than 30 years and I've heard those phrases but they were all used in the late 80s, early 90s, and among uneducated people. I would not use them, maybe just for comical effect but not fr. Except que onda, that one is very common.

Some of these must be things only REALLY young people say. I live in Nezahualcoyotl, right next to Mexico City, and I can say that there's at least two of these maybe three that I've NEVER heard anybody ever say. The others are pretty common, more or less.

I´m from Mexico City and I guess nobody speaks like that unless you want to sound like you are from the ghetto. I think these greetings are not really advisable to be used.

That's the dictionary spelling, but it's super informal and i can't ever remember seeing anyone spell it that way outside of formal writing. It's always written as 'we' or 'wey' in text messages, Facebook, whatsapp, etc.

What are you talking about? I am from Mexico City City. The expressions you are referring about are considered ghetto. The people who talk like that are usually front the lower spectrum of the DF. You are so, so wrong 😡
