Thanks so much for sharing! These topics are all so valuable to add to homeschooling for a well adjusted future adult’s education. Your videos have been such a gift lately, and I really appreciate the work you’ve been putting into making such useful, thoughtful, and rich content. I do find it hard not to want to add everything you mention to my shopping list though! So many awesome recommendations!

My kids loved Killer Underwear Invasion! My kids liked the touch of silly and i liked the content. That author has a few really cool books. Your resource suggestions are always fantastic.

Thank you! I just got her book Club Microbe for my daughter and The Mushroom Fan Club for my son from the library! Have you read her one on neurodiversity yet? I think that looks good.

@TheMommaLibrarian I did not even know it existed! It's going on the list for sure. I'm always trying to find good resources on that topic... it can be so hit or miss!

These resource recommendations are wonderful, especially since you're focusing so much on critical thinking and media literacy, as I hope to as well! (He's only 5mo but i like to plan ahead, lol.) I think I'm putting pretty much all these books on my wishlist right now, lol. I have one to recommend too that you might like though! 'Thinking Like a Lawyer: A Framework for Teaching Critical Thinking to All Students' by Colin Seale. (I'm enjoying it a lot but I haven't finished it yet, but like I said, I have a 5 month old.)

Thanks for the recommendation - I will definitely check that one out!

I'm so glad I found your channel, I feel like we have similar values. My older one is a little activist. He expressed interest in learning more about immigration and policy and the struggles we face as a country/community. Before I invent the wheel, do you have anything already?

I do have some resources that I’ve got to incorporate into our us history study. I will try to make a video soon!

Love the critical thinking resources. You have just made me realize I should change my 3 core subjects to French, Math, and Literacy. Literacy rather than Reading. I wasn't thinking about proper definitions. I used "reading" as a word to separate it clearly from ELA which separates everything too much for us. I have a motto but not a mission statement. I may take my business plan for my farmstead and use that as a template for homeschool and re-write and update it each year -- but not overwrite the previous years. It's how I have seen how far I have come in my little business and propels me forward. So why didn't I do that for homeschool?! Maybe I will have my kid do one each year as well...
