Probably because Iskander is a mixed bag. He should be weaker than most of the servants even just from the non FGO animes but because Nasu and the authors love to wank him(and it's way worse than the Nero wank people complain about) the people who dislike him end up putting him down more than necessary

Best servant in the entire series, it's just a shame he is so disrespected in FGO. Imagine not having at least a 30% battery to be viable in farming. And even then, it's straight out insane that he doesn't have a special charisma, he's even on the lower ends of charisma, like wtf, honestly I'd just buff his S1 to some EX level charisma that also gives 30% np charge to party and defense up to party even if only by a small amount. His charisma is so high that it makes his NP possible, it's ridiculous that it isn't the best charisma in the game.
