Vlad is an extremely underrated servant, but the reason is obvious. He is not underrated because he is weak, he isn't, he is extremely strong and versatile, in his domain he is even stronger. He isn't underrated because he has an unknown myth , both as Vlad the Impaler and Dracula he is very well known. No, the actual reason he is underrated is that he is depicted as old. Take into consideration Gilgamesh, Ozymandias, Nero, Achilles,Karna, they are all young, at most early 20s while Vlad is at the very least 30. If they made him young, basically a Castlevania Alucard, people would be simping for him HARD. This is something that applies to characters like Iskandar, Ivan the Terrible, and others like this as well

Vlad is honestly one of the most underrated servants in both lore and gameplay,dude would probably qualify for grand beserker if servants like godjuna or morgan didn't exist

the most powerful in a said class is not always selected or qualified in the Grand containers , it is choosen by the best representation of said class , mixed with been a counter to the Beast or enemy that it was send of to it.

He is the OG Dracula, and the one who strike fear even into the pan human history. This is even more impressive considering that Vampire or Dead apostle exist in the Nasuverse, yet Vlad is still considered one of the dangerous of them all. (Excluding the Dead Apostle Ancestor and even they acknowledge Vlad)

@@PureWhiteOrganism This is before the Tsukihime Remake. Now, The DAA can go on par with Servant, some can outclass a top tier Servant. So we can't really underestimate them. Edit: Also for the record, Vlad Haven't use His vampire form to his Full Potential because he hates that form. But, if he did accept and use His Vampire form. He will truly be the Embodiment of Dracula in most myth and folklore.

@@adraxer1365 it's from OG Tsukihime , not the remake one. Vlad is still dangerous , and he doesn go fullpower when it comes to Legend of Dracula. But the thing with servants that receives powers of a fictional vampire is that they also gain their weakness.

@@Patrick-tg6wm Yeah, if I remember correctly, Nasu stated that due to the increasing scope of abilities since the release of Fate/stay night, particulary the various threats in FGO, the DAA were getting weak in comparison so he took a look back at them in the OG game and made some changes. The Dead Apostle Ancestors who were deemed "relatively amazing" were those who were cut, Nasu deciding that "having decent strength and abilities doesn't cut" for the new standard of Dead Apostle Ancestors. Taking the Remake's final scope into consideration, Nasu compiled the members to be removed, the members to be added, and the existing members to be upgraded.

Even with summer Castoria out I feel that this guy is worth using over her because his NP allows stupid things like triple np chain with a tamamo and regular castoria plus his np gain is better when he has his guts up. He will always remain the best Arts ST DPS king to me

Man I love Vlad. He was my first 5 star servant in the game. He was on my team throughout nearly the whole story and he’s never been off my team very long. It was harder for me to keep him alive long in the beginning, but he’s only gotten better with time and moreso ever since I got Castoria. His damage output is bonkers.

No. I'd argue he is barely top 50. Karna , Solomon , Arjuna , Merlin , Cu , Medusa , Artoria. Mesopotamia alone carries like 4 others. Ishtar , Gilgamesh, Enkidu , Eresh, (Beserker F/sf). Round table is pretty op aswell. Most of the Greek servants aswell. Rough. Vlad is just not him.

Balmung - etc. He only did well in Aproyacha cause it took him over 2 months to establish territory which is ludicrous cause he actually need 2 months to "properly establish it" lol wild. + he also got a massive fame boost.

@nevagongoflawless6340 Now, as for a balmung, I can't say that would work or not, seeing as he got hit multiple times, at point blank with karna's flames and just tanked them. I think outside of holy attacks like shirou used to purge him, you are going to have a tough time, hence why he was taking on multiple servants and a ruler.

I could just imagine his phantasm he turns into a swarm of bats risings to the sky like a tornado and blitz you manifesting in and out with claw attacks till you’re all the way up in the moon light sky you’re silhouettes infront of the moon with a quick paning to a closeup of his face about to sink his fangs into you then back to the silhouettes where it all turns blood red filtered like having the crimson moon in the background basically.

I think nobody ever doubt Arc's power, its just that Tsukihime content was lacking(Especially English) for many years, so people just aren't as invested in her.

Gilgamesh is just the weakest Ex and as long as they have to fight against anyone who is just more brocken then they are they‘ll lose. The Rock Paper scissors is just Made up for the Game and u Can’t make me belive any Servant can kill primate murder or even „just“ tiamat 1vs1. Im not saying that servants are weak but for some in this Verse it doesn’t matter who strong the Servant would be, because they are just that op. Oh and Every Charakter who is much faster than Gill can oneshot him (shiro isn’t that fast in ubw if you compare him to any Ex Servant, so it all comes down to who effektiv Gills Gate is against them and of he uses EA)

Apocrypha really gave Lancers some shine, with both Lancers Vlad and Karna being superior to either Saber Siegfried or Mordred. Chiron and Vlad were really the ones carrying Team Black, because they were both reliable and strong.

Watching/reading Apocrypha, you might be wondering why Vlad is so powerful in his Dracula form since in the Nasuverse, it's stated that older = stronger and the character and legend of Dracula from Bram Stoker's novel is very recent (roughly 100 years old). But that's actually very simple. In the Nasuverse, a Servant's power depends on their age but also their fame. For example, Heracles is so powerful even in his Berserker form because he's one of the most famous characters in all mythologies. Same for Achilles or Arthur Pendragon. All of them are icons of culture in general. And this is the same for Vlad. Dracula is not simply a vampire, he is THE vampire. When you think about vampires, it's almost certain you will think of Dracula. Pretty much every single depiction of vampires in fiction following the novel takes elements from Dracula, there are TONS of movies about him, novels, books, analysises, video games, comics. He is the archetype, no the embodiement of vampires in culture. Even those who don't know about Vlad Tepes the man have at least heard about Dracula.

@@aviniciussouza100 no , you can summon like that. Berserker Vlad is precisely Legend of Dracula been automatically activated by default , with Kazkli Bay morphed to fit that. In his profile , it is stated he wouldn't kill a Master that summoned him accidently in that form , but would kill one that tries to summon Dracula on purpose.
