My wifes X6 M50i is a doppelganger of this X6 except she has the stock rims chocolate interior. I drove it the other day to the store and I was a little flabbergasted by it. This suv is fast as hell. Your great video sums it up very well. I was about to put my dragy in it and get some data but now I don't need to. I tried like hell to get my wife to go for the X5 M50i as imo the rear looks much more normal to me. She loves the weird rear end of the X6..... thx!

My G05 2019 BMW X5 50i M-sport pulls a 0-60mph of 3.97 seconds at 400ft elevation. Fastest time is NOT using launch control. Timing done via Draggy. My wife can pull 4.2 seconds all day long on every run just mashing the pedal. You will crush most performance cars at the light and shock the hell out of them simply because these are fast all the time and require little effort to get a good launch. 😁These V8TT love Sunoco 93 oct gas. Hope this helps.

Looks a lot like a rounder more chubby Urus from certain angles. It grows on you, but I still think the Merc AMGs have it beat in terms of styling. I think its time we start seeing some racing videos with the X6M50. Maybe with your wife racing 😂

I like the way you added your social media at the end, looks modern. This is a pretty underrated SUV, not many people would think it’s as quick as it is. The X6M is a whole different animal though, vicious and aggressive. I’d love to see how the M50 stacks against the M one day, maybe that’s another good idea of mine Anyways hope your buddy with the uh, Mythos black metallic car, got his issue sorted out. Did you guys ever figure out exactly what it was or just guess around bad fuel? I’d assume bad fuel honestly, hope you can get another few runs in with him on better fuel. I think both cars should refuel from the same gas station so the results are most accurate

Sorry for the late reply, been working on that boat. The interior lights are nice but not as swag as Mercedes tbh. I think the only thing the car needs in terms of stance is probably some spacers. Might pick some up next month. If someone made an exhaust or sport cat for this car, I’d be 100% on it. I like what the exhaust note is going for, it just needs more of it. But yeah, it’s heavy, but still lighter than the X5 by like 150 pounds I think. Those air ducts/vents are fake btw. In terms of overall performance, it’s deceivingly quick for something this big and the beautiful thing is that no one really suspects you because it’s not a “real M.” But it’s fun to watch the confusion on people’s faces when they’re going WOT and you pass them at 100 in a fat SUV. One day, I’ll get behind a Trackhawk. That car was on the shopping list. So as for the mystery car, we’re guessing it’s bad fuel but it’s hard to say. He’s going to data log and see but if it turns out to be bad fuel, we’ll have to re-run the test. Otherwise, I’ll have to just state that it’s on 91 octane for the runs.

Man, I hope you know what you are doing, running a car at those speeds on public roads in the middle of the day. Feels very irresponsible to promote such behavior, especially being a father.
