Before you ask, I didn't put any 'snake eater' thing in the title, otherwise it would be called 'Don't eat her snake in the night,' and we can't do that now can we? :L

[CODEC] Press Select Snake - Hey, Colonel, who is this feminine Marth? Colonel - That's Lucina, she comes from a distant future of a wrecked land with a duty to protect the present. Snake - So, she's a time traveller? How nifty... but it still doesn't explain why she mirrors Marth. Colonel - She's part of the same bloodline as Marth, the exalted bloodline. Marth's skills were passed on to his offspring, including Lucina. She also holds the same blade as Marth, the Falchion, except it's a modified version. Snake - Heh, i guess you can't always keep with the old. Colonel - Not only is it modified, any part of the blade deal the same damage unlike Marth's Falchion. Snake - So shes less of a coward when it comes to close-up combat? I already like this chick... though there's nothing i can't quite put my finger on. Colonel - What's that, Snake? Snake - WHY DOES EVERY ONE OF THESE SWORD WIELDERS HAVE BLUE HAIR?!?! [Codec end] If only Snake were in the newest smash, or atleast any MGS character so we can have codecs once more... however, Palutena's Guidance is pretty good.

I like the idea a lot, but I don't think the vocals of Snake Eater really mesh with Don't Speak Her Name

It almost works really well, but there's some parts where it clashes a bit too much. That said, I still enjoyed it a lot.

I agree. I didn't want to use Snake Eater originally, but there isn't an acapella for Calling to the night. I tried working on a full calling of the night version but the instruments makes it sound too untidy, even though I find the voice to fit in well. If there was an acapella, i'd remake this.

+TR Kong honestly, I never thought the Metal Gear Solid series and Fire Emblem Awakening as a mashup. I always thought it was a terrible pair, but what you did here… God I was wrong in that department because it was AMAZING! I wish you can redo this because it would sound even better than before. Both "Calling to the Night" and "Don't Speak Her Name" are some of my favorite video game songs, and putting them together was the BEST DECISION YOU'VE EVER MADE!
