One note that is probably worthless but worth saying--attacking gnats will keep them from damaging you, or at least did last time I played the game. But I also remember them doing more damage, so yeah. Might have been changed, might not.

No, it does. It's just that you can't move to get them off of you AND attack at the same time to prolong the inevitable if you know what I mean.

Fixing the things that annoyed me into quiting was the best decision ever. Broken world generation, desync, seasonal resets, wild fires ending a ds world. Still hate cave voids stealing items, floating plants.
