Don't Starve Hamlet Guide: The Iron Hulk

Just a reminder for those who didn't watch our iron guide, infused iron spoils into regular iron rather quickly so make use of it ASAP or save it! Oh, and as for the gears that drop be sure to invest in an oscillating fan too! Other than that, the boss doesn't really drop anything that exciting or unique which is actually kind of weird... In fact I'll be honest, it's also strange to make a boss guide without giving you folks more than one option to handle it but the Iron Hulk here is just an odd one all around really. It's supposed to be second only to the Ancient Herald in this game however it's just... overall easy? 😅 That's why I decided to just show you the one-on-one battle at the end of the day as that should really be what you aim to do anyways. The other options are just more time and resource consuming in this case.

You could probably use them to assist you with the ancient herald since they do damage to nightmare creatures. Not sure how well it would go, but it would be interesting!

Honestly just better to kill Hulks for the armor to just use the armor VS the Aporkalypse really.

Only one of the two hands is visible in the completed Iron Hulk design, so I like to imagine that the other hand is controlling the mouth like a muppet

I finally got hamlet a few days ago, and finding on the wiki that the hulk was the only source of gears, while I was playing Wx78.... wasn't a pleasant discovery... Sounds like I'll be enduring quite a long wait to have any chance at giving myself any stats. (Just died escorting 3 pieces before coming here...)

interesting, he hurts nightmares like the dark herald? I wonder why. The herald makes sense since he spawns them. I was already thinking of using BFB island to keep the pieces together LOL. Holy crap, I knew that artifact was powerful but it gets you tufts from the hamlet grass?!?! OK... I'm freaking doing this ASAP lol. I'm having fun with Wormwood rn so living logs aint a thang. For three minutes... 😅 STILL! Learn to manage the Iron Hulk and you can easily kill him over and over again for more! Plus, magic water is easily farmable too so that's good!
