We honestly weren’t sure when or how to release this, but felt it was a shame to not have anyone see it. If people enjoy this sort of thing, we have some other projects we’ve done and are interested in making that we may release down the road as other standalone shorts.

@@eeveepersoproductions1694 Basically, Adventure mode is canon but before DST, which is what this video seems to slightly be. After Adventure mode, canonically, Wilson takes the place of Maxwell on the Nightmare Throne. After about 3 days Charlie kills him and sends him back to Survival. After Maxwell died he too became a Survivor and Wilson and Maxwell met each other. After a fight they decided to work together to get out, they built the Jury Rigged Portal, Charlie saw this and turned it into the Florid Postern, which then brought every other Survivor together for DST. There's more lore before and after that but that's the basics.

i first discovered dont starve when i was 10 . i really wanted to play it but i cant pay.. but now i grew up and bought the game and it's a very good and interesting game!! i thought there would be no more ds community after years, but it seems that they're all alive eventhough the game was released long ago... even the developers are still giving us animations like this!! im glad to get the chance to play it

Besides good gameplay, the stories you think of within this world are so much more theatrical and poetic, and unlike the nihilistic "i shoot you so you die", the darkness of the constant has mystery and meaning
