IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION REGARDING THIS VIDEO 1. Valuable tip from @Beliar BAD : Burnt trees despawn after many days pass on. So DO NOT burn the trees like I did in the video. This also means you'll have to be bit careful when dealing fire hound (don't kill it near the farm) 2. For feather farm, you can dig up the turf of biome you desire and plant them instead of dragging catcoon all the way there. Thought this was too obvious to mention in my video, but since it was pointed out, I will say it here. Clearly there were limits to my knowledge, it's my fault for not looking deep into fact before making a video out of them. I appologize (BAD DOBBY BAD DOBBY)

@@kvn476531 it is a lurepant. lurepants spawn in randomly i think and lure creatures nearby using leafy meat. hounds are atracted to fake meat and ignore you.

Here’s a tiny little tips I’ve noticed! For some reason, (I think this is only in don’t starve) lightbulbs only spawn in a underground swamp, also if you find hutch, put a spear in him and he’s a Chester that fights back.

New Don't Starve player here. Like all games, I go in without reading up on it so I am more surprised. This game absolutely mauled me and I have spent a lot of time learning about it the hard way. As I am not a pro-gamer like so many on here, I don't know all the tips and tricks but I still love the game. Another good catcoon farm design is to put it in an area filled with moleworms then drops rocks inside the pen. That way the moleworms can never get the rocks, but the catcoon can always get the moleworms.

Awesome ideas. How do you come up with this stuff? I'm most impressed with the fact that you managed to make Varg pens useful again, because ever since Year of the Varg hounds behavior changed. If before you could approach a trapped Varg, make him summon his minions and then fight them some distance away, now you can't do that, since they always run back to him as if they're on a leash. Btw, do the hounds or Varg ever lose aggro to the Lureplant?

If you want to farm morsels with the catcoon farm, use a scarecrow, canaries have a 9% feather drop rate, instead of a 50% from other birds

About the fire farm for pigs/bunnymen. If you play a minion character, Wortox or Webber, there is a problem. You have the pigs/bunny attention to the snack as normal, and when you try to go and seal the only exit so you can fire farm them, they aggro on you, get out and chase you. Is there anything to do to prevent this? Thanks

i accidentally made a mosquito farm with wart near the portal when i spawned by a small swamp, it was big enough to had two ponds and i think 5 tentacles and 4 reeds, i built merm huts and it went from there, my problem is the sacks are useless unless you have wes due to his balloonmancy

interesting farms! I love that all are relatively simple to make compared to many other farms showed on youtube. Little worried about the lureplant varg farm tho, isn't the eyeballs gonna cause a lot of trouble? can hounds be baited by powder cakes?

eyeballs cannot sprout in desert so no worries. Of course, if you don't want the farm in desert, you could just dig up the desert turf using pitchfork. But apparently burnt trees disappear after few seasons, so either leave the trees non-burnt (if in oasis desert, no need to worry about smoldering) or replace them every once in a while.

it makes burrow there AND above (after you take it back to overworld). The cave & surface acts like two different worlds, so mole makes burrow on both side
